It's meant to be a hectic experience tbh. If you want safe then maybe stay at home with a green tea and an Adam Sandler film.

Yeah ok m8

I was tripping hard. Never felt that venerable. My mates had to come back to the hotel 30 min after me as well as it was too much for them. One min laughing hugging one of my mates, then asking him not to rape me. Horrible experience. Took ages to come do n as well.

Amsterdam is so expensive now. I went last year and a wok to walk was about £13. Back when I first started going it was £5.

Still love it there though and could happily live there .

Yeah it is mind blowing how expensive it is now... Flights, hotels, food, drugs... Hardly seems worth going anymore for me now.

Tourism has exploded there in the past 5 or so years. Numbers visiting have gone through the roof.

Berlin pisses on Dam 2018 from a height.

Better drugs, better brassing, better clubs, cheap as fuck.

Never got around to going Inno in The Dam and was considering it this year, it will be full of kids though won't it? Starting to think I should probably only go to events like Moondance, Raindance, Jungle Mania etc so I'm not twice the age of everyone there. When I was in the bassline arena at Detonate recently I felt like the oldest person there. When I look at photos of Raindance I'd probably be the youngest there.

Done Amsterdam in December, Berlin in March.

Amsterdam just isn't the same as it used to be, double busy too, Berlin wins all day now.

is that really narrow alley still there? that was an experience shroomed off my tits, brr.

If you sat in the garden at the Winston it was a the top of the alley and you could look down on the chaos. Spent many a Sunday afternoon getting stoned and pissed whilst people watching and trying to figure out why brasses were knocking back business from certain people.

Banged a brass down that alley on my stag do as well  - one of the seediest experiences of my life, was great!

Since I first went in 1997 Dan has been totally cleaned up, just isn't the same anymore, used to go out there at least once a year every year, ain't bothered doing back for about 5 years.

I went to Inno in the Dam back in 2007 and even then it was full of kids, I was only in my late 20's and felt like the oldest person there!

Me and my Mrs spent about £700 between us over 3 days. It didn't seem much difference from over here in terms of expense which is what I was expecting tbh.

Considering we did a lot of tourist stuff, got stoned every day, had loads to drink and had some very decent food I didn't think it wasnt too bad.

Brilliant city. Want to go back at some point.

done a mixture of debauchery and slightly more honest sight-seeing and it ticks all the boxes

quite happy getting high and looking at the architecture / walking about the canals so not too upset it isn't so edgy these days

^ Agree with this. It's still great fun imo.

It's like those 90s rave stories. If not wanting to be stabbed by crackheads is lame then I guess I'm just a big lame.

I deffo recommend the ADAM lookout, Europe’s highest swing, and for €20 you get a few beers as well
