Quick The North Face Question

Wondering if any of you lot know of decent places to get rucksacks and coats/jackets not at high street prices.

Cheers

Ive always got any gear like that from little shops in tiny villages on the foot of a mountain in Wales or somewhere. Find it a lot cheaper than in Liverpool

Dunno but their warranties are awesome. Bought a fleece jacket / hyvent shell combo from them in 2008 and last year noticed the waterproof lining on it had perished. Phoned up their customer service and got it swapped for a brand new goretex jacket, which was worth 90 quid more than the one it replaced. Have heard of people getting their tents etc repaired or replaced by them after several decades too...

My walking buddy had the exact same thing when the mesh inside perished. Sent it off to be fixed and they sent him a new coat

Partridge should have done the same

It's pretty good functional clothing tbh. Got a waterproof jacket that I bought in New Zealand for a cycling and hiking trip and it's great. Really lightweight, breathable, packs up small, surprisingly wind resistant and quite bright without looking like a total prick. And yeah, the lifetime warranty is great. Took it in after 3 years because a bit of the lining came away and they fixed it free.

I assume Canada Goose is heavily faked these days? Every scumbag seems to be wearing them now, I can't imagine they're all dropping 600 bucks on a parka.

Yeah massively.

TNF is definitely more functional, everyday wear.

I have a few of their bits and they’re great.
