Bagged the whole lot digitally, can't really go wrong for a tenner.  Fair few of the older tunes I don't have digitally and enough of the new remixes that I'll play at some point.

Not going to bother with the vinyl set for that price

Yep, same. Wasn't about to start cherry picking through for the sake of a tenner, I do have most of them anyway but I think they've all been re-mastered?!

SIGS, EVERYTHING SIGS.

Yeah, it was pretty terrible, took far longer than it should have done.

LOL at the vocal sample on the Cause 'n' Effect remix intro
Parody material
Other than that it's better than I first thought, a bit all over the place but has some good techy bits in there

Cool Down, X Ray and Huggy Bear the best remix jobs overall

I actually really like the DC Break’s take on Terminal 2 Which I wasn’t expecting. Marky has done a great job with huggy bear. Like the Milky Way Remix and I think everyone knew that the Total science remix was going to do the original justice, great work.

Wish someone had brought Skirmish up to date as I think it’s my all time favourite Ram tune but it gets drowned out in the mix with modern tunes.

Skirmish is a particularly loud pressing as I recall
The Ram Raiders EPs still sound weighty

If you're not on wax then you can sort that in Logic or something similar. Though I know it's not just volume, dynamics too. I like mixing a lot of older tracks with the fresh stuff too, so I'm constantly pushing up the volume and re-bouncing tracks.

Yeah I only have 1210s but thanks, I think my copy is maybe just a bit warn out. I’ll have a look and see if I can get a decent copy on cogs.

Only 1210s haha no it’s the only way, don’t change. Most of the best dnb djs still use 1210s IMO. I use timecode vinyl now, I couldn’t change to CDJs, doesnt suit me. Nothing will ever beat 1210s & an X One 92 for me

I love mixing on them and I’ve used pioneer CDJs a lot which are still good and I can imagine it makes sense if you actually Perform in clubs as 1210s are usually in a terrible state in clubs but in my experience its just not the same. I Like timecode and the possibilities of pitching up /cue points etc but collecting records is part of the fun. If I really want something unavailable on plastic I get it cut to dub. It’s only around £20 with dub studio for 2 sides. Looked up ram raiders vol 2. £8 for mint condition. A good price. Will pick up now.

Just listening to the remix half of this release now and quite enjoying it for most part. The calyx and teebee remix of cause n effect is flawless really and I've hated their output for ages.

all of these tunes and every single drum and bass tune ive heard on facebook/instagram etc in the last 2 years seem to have been made specifically just to allow the MC to shout 'five........ four....... THREE TWO ONE' on the drop
