Nice one that looks decent, ideally I need drawers underneath for storage. Those ones that flip up are really cool but I guess you pay a premium for that.

2 drawer divan is 80 quid extra

In the market for a new mattress as ours is all sorts of fucked. Bought it for about £350 8 years ago so it's done alright.

These Tempur ones, no doubt they're tippity top, but do they really justify the cost? I'd like to think I could get something really decent for a grand, so are they really worth spending more than twice that?

Also rep your overpriced duvets

Getting new everything innit. Already ordered these pillows, have read good things https://mypandalife.com

We burned quite a pile of money on a Feather and Black matress with 10000 pocket springs. It is like sleeping on a cloud, and my backache is no more. Lovely stuff.

F&B are a good company too, the sales guys know there stuff.

There are a whole range of Tempur mattresses.  We had a Tempur Cloud 25 Superking for a month but have just chopped it for a Tempur Sensation Elite which is really good.

The Cloud was literally like sleeping on a cloud with no support whatsover - hated it - and it got really hot too

We took a punt on a Simba mattress in the end, took a little getting used to but now we love it. Can’t see us going back to a spring mattress, knowing we’ll never get weird bump is nice. Does get quite hot but we switched to a thinner duvet and we sleep great.

Glad I didn’t slurge £2k on a tempur.

we've had a tempur cloud for a little bit now and we're enjoying it.

helped that we picked it up brand new for £900 instead of paying £2k for it.

it feels pretty weightless - love getting into it super stoned, feels like you melt into it.

bit warm but we have like a 4 tog and 1 tog duvet to combat it.

I find most mattresses too soft, could do with just sleeping on a rock I reckon. Slept on the living room floor for a bit but the setup time got annoying so I gave up on it.

Marketing I guess.

I love my Tempur but I’m sure that there are others that are just as good. Our previous was a pocket sprung queen size from Muji of all places for circa £300 irc about 8 or 9 years ago. If it didn’t look so grubby I would have happily kept it - it’s was a great mattress and pretty firm. Probably why we prefer the Tempur Sensation Elite over the Tempur Cloud 25 which was way too soft,

I reckon Tempur marketing has given them enough of a groundswell of support, and because they are decent most people just end up following suit....herd mentality. I certainly haven’t got the patience or desire to research the pros and cons of every mattress going. I just need to feel like I’m making a safe investment and then make the purchase - as opposed to traipsing around Benson’s for Beds, Dreams etc being sold to.

When me and the mrs moved into the new place we was looking at Tempur - Hypnos etc. I did a load of research being 6ft 3 i need a good matress.

I went with one from a small Uk company called 'John Ryan by design' bespoke custom made. Not cheap talking 2 grand for the mattress but I found theirs the best mattress and I tried all the Tempur and Hypnos high end ones. They are hand made in the UK and use eco friendly materials and all that jazz.

Had ours two years now came with a 10 year warranty still the best mattress I've ever slept on.
