Wow. Sorry if I offend anyone here but that is just about the most pretentious load of noise I've ever heard - you'd actually sit and listen to that?!

Wooshes, rumbles and the odd bleep or clatter?! Sounds like fucking the car park outside.

They were playing hour long sets of this stuff during the day and early evening at Sun & Bass last year, sandwiched in between dnb sets, was a right vibe killers.

I really don't get it, proper Emperor's New Clothes business to me.

These conspiracies are ridiculous ha.

I quite like these, much better than the Goldie remix imo.

Lol it's alright for what is is.  Nothing on his old stuff for sure but I don't think it warrants acting like he shat in your sink b2b kicked your nan in the face while he was recording it.

I'm a Burial fanboy as much as the next guy but c'mon man...I can sit outside on my porch and record sounds and release it.  I understand the ambiance soundscape but it's an interlude at best.  oh well....

Three times i've written proper fat TLDRs to add to this thread. THREE FUCKING TIMES. And each time i've just taken a moment before hitting post, done a little disappointed sigh and saved them to Word instead.

I hope you dreadful swines are proud of me.

It isn't anything though that's the fucking problem. I'd rather he shat in my sink and kick my Nan in the face.. and she's dead n' that!

C'mon Burial, some music please fella.

SIGS, EVERYTHING SIGS.

I highly recommend watching the film 'Koyaanisqatsi', if listening to both sides of this are a struggle.

I have no knowledge of burials music but think it's great. I found it very meditative but also quite eery, it actually spooned me out a bit, would sound good in a horror movie. Listen to it loud through headphones with your eyes shut.

Do yourself a massive favour and get his first two albums. The first is called Burial and second is called Untrue, trust me you'll love them. They're two of the best albums ever made imo. However if you don't love them then please accept my commiserations. I imagine suddenly discovering you're a bit special so late in life would take the wind out of your sails.

Slightly OT, but speaking of weird soundscapey ambient stuff (and it also has burial in the title, so...), I noticed this new Radiophonic Workshop album is out today:

Looking forward to hearing it. Anyone heard it yet? Opinions etc...
