@ Office-work manz / Cufflinks

Anyone  wear cufflinks to work?

I've been wearing them just since early January (but have done office work for 11 years) and it's turned out to be a little more deep than I thought. I now sit in meetings and when bored scan the room, to check what cufflinks other guys are wearing (like the business-card scene in American Psyhco).
I'm looking around to check people on the below categories, and then make my judgement on what sort of person these decisions make them:
a) the perceived quality of their cufflinks
b) designs, are they subtle, flamboyant, designer etc
c) drop on the cuff of the shirt, to see if they have too much excess material in the cuff after the link, or if the link seems like it is on the last threads holding the 2 cuff's together; or optimal positioning of inbetween
d) who at the meeting is not wearing cufflinks, which likely means people used to look at me in meetings and laugh inside of themselves at my lack of cufflink.

So yeh, this may be close to the worst thread ever but does anyone else sharing this vibe?

Cufflinks should be understated and subtle. Only twats have ones that are noticed

Edit.

If I am really bored I will also try to check out the quality of the shirt, especially white shirts
...as they are easiest to spot the differenxe between Primark and top-shotta.

I work from home and usually conduct meetings in a dressing gown and no pants.

We've been told to wear suit jackets to look smart. I've desperately been looking for that orange and green monstrosity that homer gets in the homeless shelter which I can't link on my phone

I was once in a club in France and I saw a guy recognise another guy's designer tie. It made me want to get stabby.

I have cuff links for the two shirts I accidentally bought online not knowing it needed cuff links

Not a fan. Strictly for the overweight old Essex city boys in their pin stripe suits

I wear french cuffs but it is so insignificant I am not going to comment on my cufflinks.

I certainly have much more important ways to pass meetings (like day-dreaming about piloting spaceships or being Geralt of Rivia) than staring at other mens' wrists.

I usually just keep it simple and think about what I'm going to have for my lunch or dinner.

Or if the only woman in the meeting is actually fit, or is it just because she's the only one there.

For sure. A lot of middle aged boilers have taken a pretty depraved imaginary rogering on account of their token status over the years.

The only pair of cufflinks I own are some KoRn ones my step-dad bought me for my 14th birthday.
