Favourite Megadrive Games?

I've been playing some old megadrive games on an emulator. Some have aged better than others.

Taz - escape from Mars and Bart vs the Space Mutants still have me throwing the controller at the wall in a rage however.

What games do you still rate?

Sonic 1 through to S&K obviously, there are tons of wicked hacks available around the internet too.
This is the best one of them: http://www.teammegamix.com/builds/S1MM%20v30.zip

From the others, the following are fully sick:
Aero Blasters
Another World
Castle Of Illusion
Chuck Rock
Desert/Jungle/Urban Strike
EA/NHLPA Hockey
Ghouls 'n Ghosts
Golden Axe 1, 2 & 3
Hellfire
The Immortal
John Madden
Lemmings
Quackshot
Road Rash
Shadow Dancer
Shining In The Darkness
Streets of Rage 1 & 2
Super Fantazy Zone
Taz Mania
Thunder Force 2, 3 & 4
Truxton
Zero Wing

And the following are decent enough to check out:
Alisia Dragoon
Arcus Odyssey
Atomic Runner
Cadash
Columns
Elemental Master
Gynoug
Lotus Turbo Challenge
MUSHA
Mega Lo Mania
Olympic Gold
PGA Tour Golf 1,2 & 3
Populous
Prince Of Persia
Revenge of Shinobi
Rolling Thunder 2
Stormlord
Splatterhouse 2
Super Monaco GP 1 & 2 (2 is better)
Super Off Road
Test Drive 2
The Terminator

In conclusion, the Mega Drive is one of the best consoles ever. Certainly the best of it's generation.

Further to my original post, here are two good places to find Sonic hacks.

http://info.sonicretro.org/Category:Hacks_with_layout_modifications
http://shc.sonicresearch.org/sonic/entry

That second one has lots more under the 'history' button. There are as many shit unplayable ones as good ones, but it's not any effort at all to download them so it's worth doing some sifting.

I had a Megadrive in my youth but bought a snes on a retro tip about 10 years ago. These days I find a lot of the snes games have aged better even if they were more simple and aimed more at children.

Interestingly enough I found the opposite to be true when I first started using emulators about 5 or 6 years ago. I still like the SNES, and I'm not trying to say it's shit, but I find the Mega Drive to have far more games I still enjoy playing. Same is true with the Master System & NES.

Ghouls 'n Ghosts

Ghouls & Ghosts was one most brutally hard games ever on Megadrive. I did manage to finish it eventually as a kid but can remember how hard that game was. I would have no fucking chance of doing that now.

There was a SNES version which was quite different and not as hard from what i remember.

Shout out for Columns, Super Hang on and World Cup Italia 90 that was on the three in one that came with the console.

Lol yes, italia 90 was quality, all about the bicycle kicks and tricking goalies into diving before you took your penalty. Once annoyed a mate so much he threw a pot noodle at the wall in anger. Good times.

Used to rinse the Sonics, Road rash 2, NBA jam, Shinobi, Golden Axe and there was a game that I can't for the life of me remember what it was called but it was set in the future and was kind of a cross between football and rugby.

I loved so many back in the day but just looking back at them on youtube now and they all look fucking turd. obviously.

My faves were:

Sonic(s)
ToeJam & Earl
Fifa 96
Road Rash (and II)
Street Fighter
Golden Axe
Streets Of Rage
NHL
NBA Live
Desert Strike/Jungle Strike
Mickey Mouse - Castle Of Illusion

I remember my Megadrive came with Madden 93 which put me off American Football for life.  I still don't really know the rules
