What are the logistics / barriers in this sort of stuff?

Is it as easy as 2BM + Sully just say "OK, we'll release it" and chuck it up on all the digital sites (this is ignoring the hassle of a vinyl release)? Would they even own the rights to it (like do Moving Shadow have to ok it first?)

Always wondered what stops Dilly just releasing all his unreleased stuff / remixes etc (for example)

Is it an issue with a parent company owning the label or rights to the OG, and if so, could you get around that by using bandcamp w/ a voluntary donation*?

The original was a newish track on Sneaker Social Club so I assume it's coming out on there (not a Shadow thing). Don't quote me but it might be on a remix EP, so my guess is they have been waiting for other artists to complete the work, then the label has to fit it into the schedule.

To give you some insight; Repertoire is booked up release-wise for the entire year (possibly into Q1 2019).

This is simple. He just never wanted to. Thankfully after years of trying, DJ Harmony convinced him to let him release some of it on his Deep Jungle label (likewise Dom and Dubs From The Dungeons).

Same with Photek. They move on, doing different things. They don't care or even like stuff they did 20 years ago. It's just not on their radar, and fair enough.

This is a big part of it. A fair few guys look back on what they did 20-25 years ago as cheesy or whatever. Pascal has been going through his DATs recently and hates everything.

I live in hope that one day that Know That I’ll Be Mackin will get a release, unlikely as it is. Isn’t it weird that Harmony is doing all this at the same time as selling all his vinyl and decks.

    I bought his decks.

He's keeping a lot of his records from what he said, just getting rid of the stuff that doesn't matter to him. He's got shelves and shelves of dubs and that.

Digital back cat of the Face releases would be lovely.

Anybody been on Zinc's Bandcamp? Lots of treats on there including his Jack Ruby stuff.

I think it was co-owned with Sponge which might complicate things.

I could hook you up with most of them when I’ve got my new deck setup. Brilliant label.

Nice! There's some decent stuff on there. Are there any other old jungle artists putting stuff up on bandcamp?

Cheesy? fucking hell some of the shit the original jungle drum & bass lot make or play these days is laughable.

As for pascal his best tunes were all in the nineties the fucking prick.
