any basketball fans here?

thunder vs golden state is gonna be a classic series i think... two incredible teams

can see Oklahoma taking it. durant and westbrook scored plenty on sunday but also missed a shitload. if a few more of their shots had dropped then they would've walked it.

i could watch curry all day. so dreamy.

Russell Westbrook is my favourite player. Kevin Durant has looked confident and his attitude and posture suggests that he isn't going to fade like playoffs past. They go as he goes.
Cleveland - OKC with cleveland winning the title. LBJ is the most dominant player of the last ten years and winning the title three times with two different teams in 5 years will put him in Jordan territory.

Have to admit, haven't watched as much of the playoffs as I would like (generally, only catch the Sunday Evening game).

Heard Russ and KD were pretty impressive, but the pair of them still take too many bad shots for my liking. My feeling is that it might catch up with them eventually, especially against Golden State and/or Cleveland, who generally spread the floor, make the extra pass and end up getting a ton of open shots on the perimeter.

I Reckon the Warriors will take this one in 6.

cavs wiped the floor with toronto last night - they are definitely the weak link in the final four, would've preferred a series against the heat

cleveland will be a good place to take on either golden state or oklahoma in the finals imo, having played very few games already in the play-offs

for lebron i think this will be six consecutive finals? pretty incredible record

With the exception of Cleveland, The entire East is the weak link tbh.

It's weird how shit that Conference is at the moment.

Really want Thunder to win it all but not ready to count out the Warriors yet. Cavs have looked insane when Love and Frye are both on the floor. Some great lineups on display now. Warriors death lineup and the Thunders big lineup with Kanter and Adams.

    Finally the playoffs getting good.

(Not sure if serious).... but so did I, all be it fairly briefly ... Manchester Giants U19 was my pinnacle, although I have to admit, I was probably a bit out of my depth at that stage.

Nah, Westbrook is too fast and too strong for curry on both sides of the floor, he will dribble penetrate at will and kick out or pullup, curry's defense is weaker than michelob ultra, they also don't have the bigs that OKC does, KD is playing as a 3 right now lol, bogut isnt 100% and is their main interior defender. KD just takes Green (their best defender) outside and opens up the key for everyone else. Their shooting might win them two games, but they aren't the spurs and steve kerr can't coach for shit when he is trailing games. Cleveland would have won last year if Irving and Love weren't both injured.

Ware Rebels- this would have been about 2000 ish. We played the Towers and the Leopards etc (and absolutely pantsed them) I don't think we ever played the Giants though. We played in the finals against Birmingham I remember, In Birmingham. My old man played for Manchester Giants in the 70's. Great days. I was born in 1981.

    westbrook is an absolute killer

curry had a pretty weak fourth quarter the other night. he gave the ball away quite a lot too.

i think that series will go to six or seven games though

Oh aye? I remember Ware Rebels being decent, Although I don't think I ever got the chance to play against you lot.

I essentially bench warmed for a few months in 1999 before I went off to Uni. We weren't that great from what I remember, I vaguely remember getting trounced by Sheffeild Sharks and weirdly, Northampton ... Great Days (sat on the bench)

What a ridiculous fuss over nothing that was. Term of endearment for cheeky kids.

Doubt the Cavs give a shit about winning the eastern conference title at home bro, lol. They're looking to sweep the entire east then get as much rest as possible before the finals.

Raps might steal one at home if Valanciunas can shake his injury, otherwise there's no way.

Yeah, that Golden State home crowd is is great. Too bad they don't protect their MVP when he dives off the court lol. OKC threw in the towel in the 2nd quarter. They looked way more nervy than the first game.

Thunder 3.7 for the money line in the final seems high. Warriors at 1.3 would've expected it a bit more evenly spread tbh
