JO'B is one of the few journalists with a platform who isn't afraid to take everyone to task and challenge them on their Brexit beliefs.
Whether you like him or not, he's pretty much called everything that has unfolded so far.

Yes but if you don't listen of other shows where they also take apart other people's Brexit beliefs then you can't make such a statement.

He isn't always right and he certainly does himself no favours when he seems to be beaten by someone else's rational argument to leave

If he had half a fucking brain from.his education at one of the best schools in the country then he wouldn't be like he is.

And that's he problem with the whole Brexit thing is that hose who voted to leave have been shouted down at without being listened to by people like him which furthers entrenches their views on the matter because people don't like that. He doesn't do open dialogue and it's very rare he will change his view when callers say something different because he talks over themail and acts far to superior.

Thus demonstrating he is the champagne socialist he has claimed to be at times.

Why are you assuming I only listen to JOB? I quite regularly listen to Ferrari, Fogarty, Dale and even Farage as well.

And I disagree completely with you, he gives everyone a fair crack at the whip to answer whatever the question is, but he's intolerant of bluster or people avoiding the question to talk bollocks, that's when he interrupts and rightly so.

O'Brien is a tosser. Can't hear any view but his own. Literally complains about people talking over people while doing exactly that. Rude self-aggrandising prick.

Hi.

He is awful at times and that's what dilutes his message.

breathe in heavily
speak over the top of someone
talk rubbish when youve been beaten
then back track.

That was irritating, I don't mind the guy in a few videos I've seen of him but this was enough to change my opinion entirely, the guys coming with facts and figures and because it doesn't suit his agenda he's using various weak subversions to stifle legitimate discourse.

I wanted to hear more from the caller

James O'Brien is just a left wing shock jock, who gets morons on his show so he can make them sound ludicrous. If he ever gets anyone on who knows what they're on about he does what he did there, shout over them. I quite often agree with his overall stance but he's a total dickhead.

have to laugh at all the calls from right wing folk in the UK for a united EU stance against Russia, as if Brexit isn't happening.

Even though we are leaving we will still be part of NATO as will the EU so it makes sense to have the EU make a noise about it too

Or maybe they're calling for a united European stance, and since we will still be in Europe that's all fine and dandy.

Apologies ill change it just for you then

Well, with close links between the EU and NATO and large swathes of EU member countries being part of NATO they probably want them to put on a unified front to make a noise about it as it could affect those member countries also

Correct.

And we are still currently a net contributor to the EU, a member of the EU and a leading military member and the leading intelligence member. Russia poses a threat to the EU27 as well.

Hence why it's fucking stupid to leave the E.U when there is NO benefit at all. Playing right into Putins hands.

So if we didn't leave the EU then we will have more Russian spies being poisoned over here even though we already have 2 that I can remember whilst still being part of the Eu?

whilst i totally agree, it's akin to Sinn Fein not sitting in parliament; they don't want to legitimise it by playing an active part.

the reason our fishing quotas are now shit is because they've been sold over the last 20 years. apparently flogging your quota was a good way to get cash for the shit old boat your quota was tied to. large fisheries bought them up, many foreign. many of the remaining fishermen would rather fish the sea to death than have a sustainable catch. largely a mess of our own making, and accounts for fuck all anyway.
