It really is a nightmare though, Leaving George Kruis out of the 23 is pretty disgusting.

I think The wild creativity of Russell in between the measured management of Murray and Farrell would be an outstanding combination. But what do i know.

Love seeing Russell at 10!

Won't happen sadly.

Expect Gatland to pick too many Welshmen plus Sexton at 10.

Probable backline:

9 Murray
10 Sexton
11 North
12 Farrell
13 Joseph
14 Watson
15 Hogg

Zebo shouldn't be anywhere near that 23. I'd pick L Williams, Seymour, Nowell, Earls, May, Daly, Halfpenny, Rob Kearney (both out of position), Maitland and Tim Visser ahead of him, in that order.

I am looking forward to being the only person in a Wales shirt in the pub tomorrow. What a time.

I'm looking forward to being one of 2 people in snakey's house wearing a Wales shirt.

England's defence in that game was unreal. Unbelievably good game of rugby.

Again England's bench making the difference I reckon.

Disgusting game, died about 50 times in the second half.

Farrell's pass to Daly tho.

Feel sorry for Cuthbert, lots of people would have got burned for that try but with him it's yet another one for the lowlight reel.

Well that was annoying. Literally kicked victory into your hands, fuck knows why it came to JD to clear the line

Scotland v France was an excellent game, the French pack were going on brutal.

Yeah it's frustrating. Scotland have become pretty dangerous when they're on the offensive. It's just a shame their pack can't always compete. They could've won yesterday if they weren't getting obliterated in the scrum.

That conversion as well. Dafuq?

Re THAT kick - If you watch it again Sinckler is actually closing him down very quickly from (his) left so i think that is a factor in the in field nature of it. It was also clearly a message from the coaches to avoid putting the ball into touch to avoid our ridiculous line out.
Sadly for your lot JD2 was unable to identify that a lineout would have been better than hoofing the ball to to the 2 best playmakers on the pitch in all that space.
Biggar was on his way back into the pocket having been at the bottom of a prior ruck. It just needed one more carry from the forwards and you were more than likely all gravy.

I imagine you haven't re-watched it as many times as me tho lol.

Steven Luatua signed for Bristol next season with no relegation clause.  We stand a very real chance of watching a 25yr old All Black in his prime playing in front of 500 fans at Ealing.  Pat Lam must be a fucking inspirational coach...

Oh hai, I know next to fuck all about Rugby ... but I have noticed that a surprisingly large number of fairly English people support the Welsh Rugby Team, Dickhead Adriam Durham on Talksport being one (apologies if you're properly welsh smokey, not pointing the finger at you or owt)

But WTF is going on here? Is there some vague reason why the welsh rugby team gets English support? ... can't get my head around it at all.

Here's as objective as i can be

Scrum - I'm expecting parity more or less.

Lineout - England have a huge advantage here and i full expect them to steal a good chunk of Welsh ball

Breakdown - Wales' best chance to win the game lies with Warburton and Tipuric fucking England's ball up neatly, something they are well capable of doing. Advantage Wales in this area.

Ball Carrying - Clifford should hopefully bolster this area for us. Moriarty vs Hughes will be one of the crucial battles in this game. Haskell and Teo coming off the bench did the job for us last week - expecting similar again.

Halfbacks - Sorry but i just do not rate Biggar at all. Youngs / Ford / Farrell vs Webb / Biggar / Williams is finely balanced imo. If our pack can do the business i expect the superior distribution of the England boys to prevail. Also Care off the bench has been putting plenty of zip into the game in the final quarter, huge impact last week.

Outside Backs - Wales have 1 who's any use, L Williams. The rest are complete shit or way past their best. Sorry but that's the truth. Brown - meh, Nowell - amazing player but not a classic finisher. Always visible. Daly - Still finding his feet on the wing but he looks a class act. 50m penalties don't hurt either.

Can we just spend some time marvelling at this amazingly astute piece of analysis.

Wales win the breakdown

Fear of English lineout leads to keeping clearance kicks in play

Distribution of F & F wins the game

Moriarty plays out of his skin

L Williams is the sole Welsh try scorer

Two good games today, Scotland thoroughly deserve their win. What's going on with Wales turning into footballers? Biggar(no surprise) and Webb always complaining to the ref.

Interesting tactics from Italy, it's only gonna work the once now all teams will coach against it.  I've seen it used in Super-rugby once or twice but not at every single breakdown.

Technically in that non-ruck tackle situation the SH could just sit there and refuse to play the ball for 40 minutes.  No ruck form means no use-it-or-lose it and the Italian players couldn't get closer than 1m to the SH.

But more importantly. WE BEAT BATH.
