The government has to take a stand against this. Trump and co are trying to push a line that this was a botched interrogation (minus any interrogation) gone wrong by “rogue killers” and the king is unaware.

We can’t take a public stand on Salisbury and say the highest levels of the Kremlin were complicit while acting as apologists and shielding Bin Salman for this sickening butchering.

Here's a novel idea, why not sell them to the tenants and not predatory investment companies that'll probably drive them out of business.

have seen plenty of speculation that the US intend to use it as leverage to 'encourage' Saudi to buy their Patriot missile system instead of the Russian S400.  If they go ahead with the Russian system they will revert to making a big deal out of the killing.  Could be bollocks but sounds cynical enough.

And yeah, Saudi Arabia is probably the most disgusting cesspit of a regime on the planet and the source of many of our current problems, but expecting our government to take a moral stance on it?  Pigs might fly.  What about the thousands of civilians and kids the Saudis have killed in Yemen using UK supplied bombs?

Tories will never jeopardise the relationship with Saudi.  Jeremy Cunt was recently saying the UK and Saudi had shared values?  Him and the Saudi's maybe, the rest of us??

We have ZERO shared values with Saudi beyond cynical business links. Frankly I consider them an insidious enemy that we shouldn’t be arming full stop.

Imagine if Iran had done this, the West would be up in arms with outrage.

A lot of the people worried about the job losses from stopping Saudi weapon sales are the same ones telling us not to worry about the economic downturn and job losses due to come from the Brexit shambles.

Quite an interesting poll on Political Correctness from “more in common” - Jo Cox’s legacy organization.

Pretty much everyone hates it apart from a cabal of (ironically) white and privileged headbangers.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theatlantic.com/amp/article/572581/

Unpopular amongst all races and all supposedly marginalized groups. Just the woke types pedaling this bilge.

Among the general population, a full 80 percent believe that “political correctness is a problem in our country.” Even young people are uncomfortable with it, including 74 percent ages 24 to 29, and 79 percent under age 24. On this particular issue, the woke are in a clear minority across all ages.

So what does this group look like? Compared with the rest of the (nationally representative) polling sample, progressive activists are much more likely to be rich, highly educated—and white. They are nearly twice as likely as the average to make more than $100,000 a year. They are nearly three times as likely to have a postgraduate degree. And while 12 percent of the overall sample in the study is African American, only 3 percent of progressive activists are. With the exception of the small tribe of devoted conservatives, progressive activists are the most racially homogeneous group in the country.

You’d think that was pretty obvious given the dollar signs and reference to African-Americans but thanks for the clarification.

Ask those who rely on the work in this country if they could live without a wage.

im no fan of the war machine but what would you like these highly skilled people do? work in a call centre trying to sort out your home insurance for 2/3rds less wage than bae pay them?

how about retraining them in renewable green energy manufacturing / installations / maintenance and creating an industry that will allow us to be sustainable and not rely on saudi oil money.

easier said than done, I'm sure but you know - what's the other option? just carry on like we are and head towards our inevitable doom?

id prefer that especially as we seem to be at capacity for installing wind farms but it could take years for them to do so and by then we could not need them anymore.

its a worse dilemma than having nelly and kelly at your wedding but there is simply no easy answer.

we're all doomed anyway. humans have fucked the earth for the shiny phone im posting this on so whys should i care about another plane being built when im part of the problem too at a lower level?

Again its funny how people moan about the arabs raping kids or killing people with stuff bought from us yet dont seem to care when its our planes and wrong uns doing the same. Thats possibly a bigger problem but hey ho it is what it is

They didn’t buy the hack saw they used to chuck this cunt’s fingers off from us.

I’d post about us luring British citizens into embassies abroad and then torturing and killing them but I’m afraid I can’t find any like for like examples.

WHADDABOUTTHAT????

Let’s all indulge in self-loathing because some state operative Saudi savages hacked some bloke to pieces with a bone saw.

This has EVERYTHING to do with white people “banging kids up the poop chute” 🙄.

And I’ll freely admit I don’t like their religion. Wahabbi Islam is a real joy.

Big fan are you?
