Or Boris...

Robert Peston (@Peston)
Friends of @BorisJohnson think he is quitting. Not definite. But he is ensconced in his official residence with his advisers, which sends a powerful signal. As one said, "very hard for him not to quit now that Davis has, given that everyone knows they both hate May's Brexit plan"

Paul Brand (@PaulBrandITV)
I’m told he was also due at COBRA meeting - again, hasn’t turned up. #wheresboris https://t.co/QIk1f6xguO

Paul Brand (@PaulBrandITV)
BREAKING: Chief whip tells me “I don’t know where Boris is”. Sounds familiar

Is the government going to collapse in the same week England win the World Cup? I might die.

Corbyn will steam in, win an election, declare a national holiday when England win the world cup and provide free doorstep deliveries of cool craft ales to every household for the remainder of this record breaking summer.

Michael Fabricunt tweeting a picture of a Sadiq Khan balloon being fucked by a pig and fuck all reported.

Wonder what the response would have been if it was a Labour politician posting a picture of a Jewish pol being fucked by a pig. (I don't, I know exactly what it would be.)

Has anyone yet mentioned the riots in NI right now? 6 nights and counting. Petrol bombs, pipe bombs, burning barricades, open fire on police etc

Surely not, everyone's been telling me that there is no way the Troubles could restart and it was fanciful talk to be wary of it.

Are you being deliberately obtuse?

Yes there is always trouble around the 12th.  No there has not been 6 continuous nights of rioting, explosives, petrol bombs and live fire for a while.

Do you honestly think some teenage hood rats on the Bogside are concerned about Brexit as they throw petrol bombs at police?

Laughable.

This has nothing to do with Brexit and everything to do with good old fashioned religious sectarianism.

I'm not sure anyone has suggested  they're rioting due to Brexit. (Although some of them have been seen burning EU flags)

I think it just proved how sensitive the peace is NI still is, in 2018.

I probably wouldn't argue that much about this, although I would point it out that you are making the kind of assumption about Irish teenagers that Remainers make about Brexiteers.

Northern Irish are clearly well genned up on politics, after all. The Brexit result in N.I. compared to mainland UK also worth noting in relation to that.
