Netflix only in the UK I think.  Presumably they can't release all the episodes at once though if it's on TV in America.

Watched it.  I reckon it will end up being excellent, but is going to take ages to get going.  Felt slow paced, which is fine, but will need to look back on about 10 episodes to get the story flow.

Might wait until the first series is done and then watch them all at once instead of drip feeding it and forgetting half of what happens throughout.

The intro was cool in black and white I thought.  I like how grim his existence is at the moment too.

I hope they don't just spend all the time giving us knowing glimpses of characters from Breaking Bad, lingering on them slightly longer than normal, so we 'get' it.  That will get cringe very fast.

But yeah, seemed good.

Looking forward to it... is it intended as a multi series thing, or just a one-off run of 10 or so episodes?

I'd quite like to know about Mike's past that they started hinting at towards the end.

Not seen it yet. But this is my favourite scene with Mike from BB

It was decent, definitely slow moving though. So many scenes where I didn't really know wtf was going on, and probaby won't for at least another couple of episodes.

Did anyone else think it was a bit naff the way Tuco looked around? A gif needs to be made to appreciate the true lolz.

Mentioned this myself earlier in the thread.  It is all a bit too self-knowing, which is borderline cringe.

The second episode was a lot better, but the breadstick snapping scene went on for way too long.  I get the feeling that the writers and producers are not exactly too optimistic about the average viewers' intelligence, or appreciation for subtly, as they labour the point WAY too much throughout.

I suppose the writers have to cover all bases with regard to viewer knowledge though. Some viewers will be watching this having not watched a single episode of Breaking Bad.

Sucks ass for the veteran viewers but I can live with it.

What was the relevance of the nail bar in BB? I remember seeing it but can't remember in which context. Did Saul still have an office there?
