I'm sure the cow that provided it would apologise, if able to.

Tbh, i expect a chewy steak in those chain pubs when you're paying a fiver. It's when you're paying £20+ in some place trying to be upmarket and get a chewy overcooked tasteless thing that bothers me more.

Do you blame the cow, the butcher, restaurant's buyer, the manager that organises the storage etc, the chef, or the waiter that brought it to the table? Or yourself for taking a risk that didn't pay off this time?

'isn't all that good' covers a multitude of sins though to be fair - the last meat I ate was a fucked up, chewy burger that I had from some burger place in Ibiza 26 years ago - no amount of cooking could make it edible, but I was happy that it gave me my eventual 'tipping point'.

I think I used some very out of date almond milk in my smoothie this morning and now I feel like I'm going to yak in the gym. Ugh.

Depends how heavy you were doing it (and especially if this also means you have stopped smoking cigs as well) but your body is becoming healthier, meaning for a while viruses see this as a nice home. After 1-3 months all that pukey cough syrup will have been evacuated. Your skin might stop being pubescent (I'm referring to the greasy spotty feel that seems to occur as part of the decontamination). You will begin to feel alive with energy, to the point that you feel like getting wasted on bongs and start the cycle again. Or not. Do it mate. Don't give in!!

greetings earthlings

after a peiod of aftershave abstinence i decided to be a classy gentlemen this morning and squirt some very fragrant paco rabanne cologne around my clothes. i have a big meeting and wanted to dress to impress and smell like a winner.

at lunch one of those involved in the meeting, who i have never met asks "nice, who are you wearing?" as if to imply i had wrapped a middle aged spaniard around my body and wore him out on a warm tuesday morning

your prayers are wasted, for i have evolved beyond superstition.

it should surely be what are you wearing, not who. simple logic. but then when did logic ever apply to a meathead who spends his evenings ogling malnourished asian teenagers down the local sweatbox. perhaps your opinions will have more substance when your brain isnt so overloaded with creatine that you cant see straight

Eye test booked for Monday. I'll try not to prang too hard.

Yeah, so this didnt go well. Been referred to hospital for a diagnosis of a suspected degenerative eye condition called Keratoconus. It's treatable but not curable, and eventually affects both eyes in 97% of cases. SICK.

Not a condition that totally blinds you as such, but can quite easily make you "legally blind". A life of painful hard contact lenses b2b likely cornea transplant awaits.

Not sure really. I thought my eyes have been a bit dodgy for maybe a year, but nothing that bad. Then the last month or so my right eye has got really blurry. Funny how one eye takes over though, as day to day I can still see pretty well. Close my good eye though, and things get pretty fucking blurry.

My only medical prang is a lump on my bollock. Hopefully just a cyst.

Either way I'm getting out my bits. Might as well throw in the prostate exam for the full gauntlet of fun.

I've had a corneal graft in my left eye. Everything has been bless since. It's a pretty scary thing to have to go through, but the trials & tribulations of my eyesight (or lack thereof) are rather long winded.

I'm sure you'll be fine
