yes

What is it with the M1 and M25? People just pick a random lane and drive at 60 in it regardless. I want to hurt people. It also bothers me that i've posted this before, probably more than once.

How even a modest lie-in (by my teenage / early twenties standards) will cause me to have a fucking awful sleepless night.

Went to bed about 11pm last night. After trying to sleep for nearly two hours, I went down stairs and watched shit on TV for another two hours. Then laid in bed wide awake for another fucking hour before nodding off. Definitely got less than 4 hours sleep in the end.

I know it's having a lie-in that does it. I sleep like a log midweek.

This b2b I find it near-impossible to get up early in the week, yet if I look forward to a lie-in then I'll probably be wide awake at half-nine.

Another 'getting old' thing is that I had my birthday a couple of weeks ago and I've had more cases of mild heartburn since then than I've ever had in my life. It's like my insides have a calendar or something.

Yeah, I remember my parents used to get quite annoyed when I used to wake them up at 6am on a weekend to ask if I could watch telly.

I was 28 at the time!!!

A good lie in these days is 10am. Past that I get restless or my back mysteriously starts to ache. I overcooked it yesterday and it was nearly 11 by the time I braved the stairs.

I miss the good old days when a lie in meant a minimum of 2pm, often 3.

Yeah, I can't manage those these days unless I was smashed the night before.

When I was a student it was quite common for me to wake up to find it was already dark in winter (gets dark around 3/4 here).

In fact, I once tried to get a flight 12 hours early because I assumed I had slept in to the afternoon. Didn't realise until I was at a bus stop and I realised that the matrix boards were 24 hour. I'd already walked through a deserted high street at that point.

Edit: Hammerman was sick. I mentioned it when we were talking about kids programs and people looked at me like i'd got two heads.

Rarely sleep past 7am on days I don't have work. Usually up at 0630ish. Not even sure why tbh. I just naturally wake up at this time. I do go to bed incredibly early though.

Only time I've slept later is when the nipper has been a nightmare through the night.

Haha. My lasting memory of the Diana death was how much it interfered with the children's telly. Fucked it right up. Simulcast on bbc 1 and 2, what was that all about?

People at work that make out like they're putting a man on the moon, when in reality they're doing basic IT service management, badly.

This. Everything this.

Usually see Germanys finest bunched up on the outside lane, while everyone else breezes past in the inside ones.

Working Saturdays for free.
Being unable to skip goal celeberations on FIFA.
Pens that don't work when they have a shit load of ink in them.
Next door neighbour smashing walls down at 3am and coming round the next day with an apology saying he thought he was in the shining.
