Better Call Saul S4 is back on 6th August (U.S.)

I look forward to another 12 episodes of not a lot happening.

(I really need to watch the first three seasons again)

I've not watched any dramas for months but Better Call Saul brings the hype, always watch that as soon as its on. This season is going to be very similar to Breaking Bad I reckon.

Why would you watch it again if you say nothing happens?

Has anyone seen "Cobra Kai" on Youtube Red?

Believe the hype, I love it to bits.

Told from the point of view of defeated Jock Johnny, it's now set in present day Karate Kid town and he's a washed up old loser struggling to let go of the past. It's a weirdly uplifting and really very funny story of his mentoring of a local group of geeks who he trains to be badass arse kickers- Daniel LaRusso is a smooth businessman now, he's a bit of a wanker and soft around the middle now.

Only his long standing emnity with Johnny seems to galvanise him, but fantastically it's far from black and white, everyone is a flawed bellend much like real life and pretty much most people have something going for them too much like real life.

Some of my favourite scenes so far are Johnny using the young kid to do up his shithole of a dojo under the pretext of training, at one stage the kid asks Johnny if he should be cleaning the glass in a certain way "nah, I don't give a shit how you do it" he says without even looking up

I don't want Nacho to be one of the bad guys, hopefully he's working undercover to help Mike, if you class Mike the hitman as the good guy lol

I stopped watching Better Call Saul as I went away and never got back to it. I'd better get on it again before the new series comes out.

I watched it sporadically last time; hence why I feel nothing happened. The style of writing works better for small binges, and I can't really recall what happened.

I can't believe they killed off Wilson in Friday night dinner, that is a comedy series that gets better and better, the dad and Jim are comedy gold

Another foreign Netflix show. The Money Heist. Set in Spain as a bunch of robbers try pull of the largest heist ever. Binge worthy!

I haven't watched this week's, but i'm not really feeling the second series of Handmaid's Tale tbh

very rare for a tv show or film to go on 'beyond' a book and make a success of it. Leftovers in the only example I can really think of

Watched the first two and now I'm hooked, didn't realise you had to pay for the rest of the series ffs.

Can you watch them for free anywhere?

Here you go everyone. Probably the single best link I've posted to the forum...

It opens on episode 10, so watch out for that. The episode tabs are under the "tube"- you have to click a couple of times because of advert shite.

I also gave up on Handmaid's tale. It's just so relentlessly grim, but neither the plot or characters appeal enough to make it feel like it's worth trudging through, in the second season at least. The first season definitely had superior pacing, probably because it was all based off the book.
