I started watching Bojack to fill the R & M void and they just don't compare at all. Chalk and cheese.

Don't listen to this guy.

They don't compare only in the sense that they aren't the same program, and they aren't overly similar.

However both are two of the best cartoon series of all time imo, both are very funny, clever shows.  If you like one, I think most people would enjoy the other.

yep, what griff said.

both very different, both brilliant in their own ways - if you like one then you've probably got the right mindset to enjoy the other.

Not surprising considering they are nothing alike and aren't trying to be

Exactly. May as well start chucking in Adventure Time and Spongebag into the mix if the only similarity is they are cartoons

Maybe you should write a lengthy review Maxpower like you do in the film threads to give more clarity, actually don't bother

So you've corrected my post about Rick and Morty being very different to Bojack by pointing out that Rick and Morty is very different to Bojack.

Thanks guys.

agreed, both brilliant but in totally different ways

the pathos in the therapy session scenes during the Pickle Rick episode started to get close to Bojack though

Dr Foster on BBC is pretty decent. I enjoyed series 1 and I'd like to enjoy a go on Suranne Jones' bottom.

Bob Mortimer (The Nation's Sweetheart) is on the new series of Taskmaster starting tonight. Although bear in mind so is Aisling Cuntchops (endorsed by Gutless Flautsnout).

A mate of mine got me into Taskmaster a while back when it was Doc Brown, Katherine Ryan, Joe Wilkinson etc Really enjoyed it. Saw it was on the other night and the contestants were Noel Fielding and a couple of nobodies. I'm out.

Engrossed in The Wire. I did watch the first series when it first came out but I wasn't really into it then for some reason. Glad ive gone back to it. Not least just to see Avon Barksdales ultra cool ensembles.

That Joe Wilkinson Potato Incident is one of the finest pieces of comedy to ever happen on one of these panel shows. Absolute perfection.

Finished The People vs OJ.

It was good but the first and last parts were by far the best. They actually seemed to have notably higher production values than the rest of the season.
The casting is amazing. Not one weak link. Even Travolta manages to reign it in.

I'm glad he got off though. Those Naked Gun films give him a free pass.

Finished S3 of Narco's.  Brilliant TV, didn't want it to end really.

What's El Chapo like, is it comparable?

Narcos was so fucking sick. I love it. One of my favourite shows ever I think.

I watched a trailer for El Chapo and it looked pretty terrible. Also it was English dubbed which was so bad I couldnt make it through the trailer without laughing.

It was amazing.  A bit of a shame that they didn't show a bit more of the rise of the Cali cartel, only because they were sick, it needed more Pacho going on militant.  He was an incredible character.  But yeah, it's top class tv innit.

Ah man I'm not sure I'll bother with El Chapo if it's dubbed, fuck that.
