Luke Cage is ok. Unless you've seen the other Marvel stuff you're not going to like it. In fact, if you don't like comic book/sci fi-type genres you'll hate most of what Marvell has to offer.

I got in to, kind of, through a fanboy mate at work. Even though matey gives away half the plot lines, I decided to watch all of them while at work.

As much as I quite enjoy a big budget superhero film I don't think I could bring myself to watch a whole series of it without all the high end cgi, there's got to be better shows to watch that I haven't seen yet. Misfits was the one exception, god I miss that show.

Have you given any of them a go? I'm sure Netflix has them in 4K. I dl'ed the torrents so wouldn't know. Start with Daredevil S01.

first two series of Misfits were so fucking good! writing was great and the acting was spot-on

i lost interest a bit as all the original characters started to leave though and the superpowers got more obscure... not sure i ever made it to the end actually

Twin Peaks season 1 is probably the best season of any show ever, but half of season 2 and especially the new series are utter garbage.

Sopranos will never be beat. Shout out for Deadwood too - that was fantastic.

I thought it was great all the way through, they did a good job replacing the original cast imo. Rudy especially was the best character in the whole thing.

Three episodes in and Narcos s3 is absolutely sick. Easily one of the best shows in years and one of my favourites of all time i reckon. So watchable. Never feels dull, pacing is right, acting is decent, casting is spot on, locations are amazing, music is sick etc etc

Yeah it was good but it's quite close to being just Mark and Jeremy in a different show.
Mark particularly. (maybe that was the intention?). Some really funny bits in it.

I got all the way to ep5 of Ozarks before I said "enough" to the mrs last night. It dawned on me that I actually didn't give a fuck about a single character and I'd totally zoned out of what was going on.

Normally I know if I can't be bothered with a show within the first couple of episodes so to go 5 deep before fucking it off was weird.

New season of Bojack is looking brilliant already. Smashed 4 episodes last night. Gonna get on new Narcos tomorrow.

Yeh i finished Ozark and thought it was decent, but literally can't remember any of the characters or what was happening. Zero longevity.

The toenail scene in Ozark with no emotion was awful, otherwise it was alright I thought.

Are you me?

I got to 4 episodes of Ozark before reaching the same conclusion.

Bojack, think I'm ep4 atm. Hard to know when to cry and when to laugh 😭 / 🤣

6 episodes in to Twin Peaks and finding it pretty difficult to follow, I'm guessing it doesn't get any less cryptic and confusing. Is there a definitive ending or are you left with a massive unexplained headfuck?
