Made the mistake of starting the new Prison Break series. Missus loves it and wants to see it through till the end but it really is one of the worst series I've ever watched.

One of them where I'd literally watched everything of interest and gave this a go.

Anyone watch Hand of God?

True Detective series three officially a go-
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/true-detective-season-3-officially-a-go-at-hbo-1034518

Season three will tell the story of a macabre crime in the heart of the Ozarks and a mystery that deepens over decades and plays out in three separate time periods.
As previously announced, Oscar winner Mahershala Ali (Moonlight) will topline season three as Wayne Hays, a state police detective from Northwest Arkansas.

really hope it has that same pseudo-mythic, supernatural vibe of the first series

nah, completely new. only the male lead has been cast so far... mahershala ali from moonlight

p.s. very excited that Jeremy Saulnier is directing. Blue Ruin and Green Room are two of the best films of the last five years.

Lame. Still not watched the second one because they changed the cast.

don't bother. series two is actually painful to watch. some of the worst writing ever. vince vaughn and colin farrell are terrible too

would love the original cast to return but no way woody and bongos are coming back to TV now they've restarted their film careers!

They stitched Vaughan up with his lines though, thought when he had to go on sick he played the part quite well.

Farrell is a G, best actor in the whole thing.

Rachel McAdams was the only remotely watchable part of it imo

Anyway, hoping for much better this time round

Can't see how it will get remotely close to season one, fingers crossed though.

Having watched The Defenders I went back and watched Jessica Jones as I didn't watch it first time, really good.

Tennant is the daddy, apparently he's been cast for season 2 as well.

Jonesy.

Not the most ideal timing with that setting....

Not sure about the Leftovers finale.

really? i loved it. whole last series was superb imo... everything i wanted it to be and more

what was it you didn't like?

I really don't know what I was expecting, I love the Leftovers but the ending left me feeling a bit flat.

Could have easily done another season.

Yeah this, either I'd set my expectations too high or they didn't really wrap it up as i'd have liked, just felt a bit empty. Still a lot of things that didn't make sense, seemed rushed.

It gets better and better imo. The most recent series is absurd. Probably the best written show on TV

Watched 'Dont Trust the Bitch In Apartment 23'. It's actually really funny, kind of similar in vibe to Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt so it's cheesey and the main character is a bit annoying, but the side characters make it. Quite dark in places

Used to find him quite annoying but did a complete 180 after In Bruges, and think he's fucking great

Didn't he die?
