Quite surprised how a lot of people have MJ albums that must've came out around the time they were born given their other selections.

I like MJ as well, just find it surprising.

Off the wall was probably his finest work tbh. Still stands the test of time now.

Bad is the one for me... i listen to that and Off the Wall fairly regularly still. Thriller is all just rinsed to death.

Dangerous actually has its moments too

In roughly chronological order

ELO - New World Record
I was about 7 or 8 when I heard this for the first time, blew my mind...

MJ - Off The Wall
Stone cold classics all the way through

Visage - self titled first album
First of the synth bands to really get consistent all the way through imo

Heaven 17 - Penthouse and Pavement
Again, every tune a killer, back in the early 80's

Luther - Night I Fell In Love
Ha... me and my first love(shag lol) rinsed this to death - his voice though, timeless

VA - Crucial Electro 1
Nothing need to be said, I rinsed all of these Electro albums but this one for when it came out... pure tongue dropping bizniss... pure roots for our music

PE - It takes a Nation
For givin hip hop the adult/political framework it needed, and upping the production levels

PE - Fear of a Black Planet
Same as above

Nas - Illmatic
Just a classic, as you all know

VA - Reactivate 10
I bought loads of comps, but as a techno DJ in the 90's this just had loads of stuff I had to get on 12" - 'Legend B, Lost in Love' for example

The Avalances - Since I Left You
Hotchip - The Warning
Soul II Soul - Club Classics Vol 1
Un-cut - The Un-calculated Some

Bob Marley - Rastaman Vibration - totally timeless, perfect - which leads to

Goldie and Rob Playford  - Timeless - duh

Orbital - Brown Album - loads of total gems that were as good at home as played out...

Mantronix - In Full Effect - third album I think, so many great hip hop albums to choose from in 88 tho

Off the top of my head

Eric Clapton Unplugged
4hero Play With The Changes
Janet Jackson Rhythm Nation 1814
Snoop Rhythm and Gangsta
Calibre Musique Concrete
Dillinja Cybotron
GnR Appetite For Destruction
The Beatles Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
Elton John Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Photek Form and Function
Rider Mysteries of Funk

These along with many many more still get rinsed to this day, though at the mo I have found myself searching for and buying a lot of 60's/70's Latino/South American funk, salsa, rumba, mambo type stuff.  Its fucking marvellous

Picking ten is difficult.  Pretty confident in saying that out of probably approx 1000+ cd albums the only one Ive not rinsed because its complete toilet is Terror Squad True Story, which I bought purely for Lean Back.
