Pan pots.

I rarely use stereo wideners to be honest but I mix LCR a lot which gets me a lot of width in the mix (oh er).

One would have to ask why you feel the need to ask why you would want to widen the sound when drum and bass is generally very mono sounding (and shit).

Any takers?

(of course there are, I mean there's hardly any givers here).

works well on stereo stuff that sometimes could do with a wee spreading.

oranges and apples.
My mate uses them in conjunction to compliment each other.
But the mastering suit in vengeance does stuff that no other plug does apparently.
I haven't delved too much into it. Just dialled in his pre made presets and tweaked them to suit the artists tracks.

Have a listen to this on decent phones - http://soundcloud.com/mefjus/mefjus-genetic-drift-rise

This certainly doesn't sound mono. Sounds like there's a certain amount of stereo separation on the highs of the drums and the highs of the synth. Incredible mixdown imo.

As for stereo wideners, I'm still using the standard Stereo Shaper that comes with FL10. Will look into some of the other suggestions
