RAM 20TH ANNIVERSARY IN ASSOCIATION WITH DRUM & BASS ARENA Andy C: Alive Flux Pavilion Jack Beats Borgore Friction Delta Heavy Loadstar Doctor P Dillon Francis
This year RAM Records celebrates its 20th Anniversary with the festivities launching on Clapham Common. Through its association with London nightspots The End, Fabric and Matter, RAM is responsible for some of the greatest clubbing moments the capital has ever experienced. Andy C headlines, bringing with him his audio / visual ‘Alive’ arc, with further drum and bass coming courtesy of Friction, Delta Heavy and Loadstar. Flux Pavilion, Jack Beats, Borgore and Doctor P also bring the bass, making this arena a real SW4 treat.
“I’ve played SW4 for the last couple of years and the vibe was incredible. Loads of people getting involved, vibing off the music and going wild. SW4 just seemed the right place to bring the RAM family down for the day to celebrate such a special occasion.” Andy C
Needs more Drum 'n' Bass on the line up really . Nothing illustrates the fact that DnB is no longer the strong scene that it used to be than filling a line-up with loads of shit dubstep artists, lol.
It really is a sad state of affairs. Formerly one most distinctive labels in D&B having a proper identity crises. D&B is just desperate to whore itself out to the Zane Lowe / Annie Mac brigade.
It really does feel like its on its last legs really. Great producers continually turning their back on it. All time low? At least when everyone vanished from D&B around 1999 there was some proper fucking music about in D&B
