Bump.

This will replace all other currency.. The premise is that it is a digitally-based currency with the same principle as gold. I.e it is mined and once it is all gone the price goes up. Bitcoins can be traded and mined to accumulate.

TL;DR You can get them by doing no work, it's a potential safety bet for a collapsing economy IMO.

Unless the collapsing economy causes the internet to fall over completely due to some electrical Armageddon

Haven't really looked into it, but what constitutes a bitcoin? Is it just a number on a screen or does it have any actual physical value?

1 Bitcoin is worth 14 dollars. It's growing fast. I figure start accumating coins now. Once the economy crashes. These will be worth a fortune.

Gold reserves are fucked. China has most of it and countries such as us and Germany have next to none. With 4G and wireless/contact less payments getting bigger, I assume its only a matter of time before it all goes digital.

I wouldn't be surprised if the gold bugs are ditching some for Bitcoins. Max Keiser has a big interest in Bitcoins and he's the most watched financial name at the minute.
