a lot of compression on intro making it sound awkward, not fitting somehow. definitely new and kind of inspiring, even if its not quite right. not really any advice / con critisisisisim

Thanks for listening and commenting.

A bit awkward but a bit new/inspiring, I can live with that.

What sylar said, the compression sounds a little awkward. Lots going on in the low end, I like it tho. Bass is nice, but that kick just seems to trump it. Sorry I can't give more detail :/

Cheers for the listen and the comment mate. Glad you like the tune.

Dangerous to sidechain off such busy kicks it seems :-)

I'll keep the busyness but tone down the 'grace note' kicks and just sidechain off the main ones.

you can definateley make some sick sounding basses (what did you use to make those?)i agree with the kicks being a bit much im also not too sure on the (melodic)synth on top i think it might be better without but thats personal taste i do like tunes with these kind of basses and if i was looking at tracks to buy id probably opt out due to the synth but as said personal taste the rest is cool youve got some skills i had a listen through some of your other tracks Misstep is quality also.

Cheers man, glad you liked 'misstep', I thought it was cool but when I posted it online nobody said a word lol

Melodic v atonal: melodic always wins out in my productions but I'm slowly getting more atonal so maybe one day it'll win out.

As for the bass, different parts using Massive, Sylenth and Skanner, all filtered, distorted and bits run though a new plugin I got called PitchFunk which is fast tuning into a secret weapon. Good stuff.
