True Romance and If We Ever are the last tunes I can think of really.
Both pretty old now.

I don't get out much anymore and havent heard it anywhere but I imagine Marka was pretty massive.

Everything's so splintered now that it's rare to get something that Andy C's hammering that all the 'underground' DJs are also caining.

Not sure if it's an anthem, but when Disco Dodo came out pretty much ever DJ played it. You could bet your last pound you would hear it fuck knows how many times in one night. Not sure it's an anthem though.

Seems like ever night i've been to since december, be it Hospitality for work or something like ABOC every single DJ has played Marka. Couldn't believe how much I was still hearing it and the response it was getting when out the other weekend

yeah i heard this everywhere, from bunch of cuts to RAM nights

'if we ever' and 'be true' are also good shouts, but about 5 years old now

Following on from this, has anyone got any recent sets from the likes of Andy C/Swift/Bryan G/Randall/Bailey?? I've really lost touch with what's popular in the bigger raves at the moment.

The pessimist in me tells me it'll be all subfocus/dj fresh garbage.

('ve deliberately missed Friction off that list as his Radio 1 shows have really put me off)

I think that everyone should try and post some audio with their suggestions to assist those of us who are out of touch (there seems to be quite a few).

I would ike to say for the reord though that I am familiar with Marka. And i think that would have to be my suggestion too.

Marka was big but is it even a proper dnb tune?

Disco Dodo and Slow Burn are good shouts.

It's a shame the way everything has become so segregated in the dnb scene. Modern dnb lacks the sense of unity that jungle had.
