Grant Holt will score more next season than Andy Carrol.
Watched us play Ajax last night and god knows how it was only 1-1 ...they dominated 90 % of the game. We look far more cautious and defensive under Hughton so far in pre season.

if holt scores more than ten league goals next year for norwich i'll buy you a car
He will be our main striker as Chris hughton plays with 1 up top usually, so the formation will suit him better. Bold statement to make after he was the 2nd highest English scorer in the league behind the fat scouse bottler and scored against the top 6/7.
I won a nice £270 from Holt getting 15 goals last year, so a car this year would be spiffing. x
Which footballers have you met and what were they like?
I've met Wise, Zola, Le Saux, Upson, Desailly, Frank Sinclair (), Peter Beardsley, Eidur Gudjohnsen off the top of my head.
All of them were sound - especially Wise. The only complete dickhead was Desailly who was rude and aloof.
Yeah met Desailly and he acted a bit of a prick...
He is smaller than he looks on telly... So I was like "are you Marcel Desailly?" and he was like "yeah" in a rude way with this really smug look on his face waiting for me to say something else like ask for an autograph or something and I stood there looking him up and down for a second said "good for you" and walked off.

Fass.
lol
When I was a kid I met Lee Dixon at an Arsenal football academy thing (which I attended wearing a Utd kit lol), we were told we could ask him any question as long as it was about football so I asked him what it was like to lob his own keeper from the half way line.
Met Sol Campbell a few times because he lived near me, seemed safe enough if a bit shy, I never really had any reason to chat too him too much though so I just used to say hello and keep walking.
Met wise before and he was a prick. He had been drinking though.
Use to play football againt crouch. Out of everyone I played against that was at a club, he was the soundest. He's also best mates with a lad I knew on my street but I don't know crouch.
Met Cunningham and robbie keane after a Ireland match match and had a drink with them. Top blokes, very down to earth.
A few others but none stick out. Martins get a mention though (not met) for coming out in his kit straight after playing Ireland in a friendly, and jumping up and down with the fans.
Lots of talk linking us with Lewandowski, supposedly he's shit hot so hopefully it will come off.
I'll be gutted if Arsenal get Cazarola, quality player.
I met Seaman at some kids training camp thing once, he has a laugh like Bruno. I also scored a penalty against him. I like to think I gave him the eyes but he was probably just being nice.
Aston Villa have suffered a double injury setback with striker Gabriel Agbonlahor and defender Richard Dunne both set to miss the start of the season.
Agbonlahor will be out of action for four to five weeks with a medial ligament injury suffered during the pre-season tour of America, the club have confirmed.
Dunne will be sidelined for six to eight weeks with a groin setback which he sustained while in European Championship action with the Republic of Ireland.
