If he's as shit at that as he was at dj'ing then he'll be penniless.

You can see why some DJ's and MC's decide to leave the scene, especially those who have been involved with it since the early 90's

It's changed so much musically, I couldn't imagine Hyper D for example enjoying MC'ing to the latest DJ Pleasure track

Shabba was at his best in '96 imo

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of traditional style DnB MCs retire in the near future, the DnB demographic isn't the same as it used to be, white emo students probably don't appreciate the presence of a slightly intimidating looking black man who is supoosedly high on crack interrupting the set of their beloved netsky/dj fresh/subfocus/chase and status/pendulum/whoever.

EDIT: When I say black, I do mean in an Ali G sense as opposed to actual skin colour, lol.

Not sure how to put that in a more politically correct manner, but certain artists that are crossing into the mainstream do seem to be touring with their new younger MCs that are exactly of the same style as the DnB MCs that we grew up listening to on tapepacks and such. Also, some of them will be getting old now, I guess.

To be fair, MCs were kind of an obstacle preventing DnB crossing over into the mainstream too, though.
