We should at least be allowed to go into the first round of qualifying, bit of a joke really.
ah well

Not really. We fucked it up and got what we deserved. Modric must be fucking screwing lol.

Hopefully the team (or the players we have left) will learn from that and not slack off next time they have that kinda oppertunity.

Chelsea are a disgrace to English football. They are the Stoke of the Champions League. How the fuck did they win that? Chelsea should sign Gomez. The worst player in the world.

As a Stoke fan I take great offence to that ha ha. Can't argue with that statement, but would have rather your team played that style and lift the trophy or play fantastic football and lose it?

chelsea tv right now is cringe central. All about our own fans lobbing stuff at the live outside broadcast and the guy from last night waving his bottle of milk in celebration. Anyone got a gif of that?

Really am please for Chelsea but I watched the shootout in Cafe 1001, was pretty steaming by then.
I took it pretty badly at the time

Neuer taking a pen that early is pure thugging
Glad for Lampard, he's deserved it over the years. Cole is still the best in the world in his position too, for pretty much 10 years.

When it came to pens Cole was the first person who came to mind to take one. I can't remember him ever missing one for club or country.
When he was at Arsenal he was pretty much my favourite player, so good. Even though he was a prick about leaving there's no doubting how brilliant he is.

team who finished 6th in the champions league next year seems a bit strange
we should get more places if that's the case, shows we have the best league in the world

happy for drogba, behind mourinho he's probably my favourite person in football

terry though, what a cunt
when keane was banned after helping united to the final he didn't even think he deserved his medal,
let alone think it was a good idea to wear his kit and lift the cup first

Yeah Terry was pure cringe last night. If I wasn't so busy being fucking delighted I would of been quite annoyed.

I get a feeling he could of played his last game for Chelsea anyway. If (when?) he gets done in this court case I can see them getting rid of him very quickly indeed, no good for the club's international image having a captain who has been officially branded racist.

in recent years we usually have at least 2 teams in the quarters, one year we had 3 out of 4 teams in the semi

liverpool won it and finished 5th, chelsea won it and finished 6th

my point still stands tbh

Since 2005 there's only been 1 Champions League final that didn't have an English team in it.

That's a fair point, it is done a points system by UEFA.

My issue is our showing in this years competition. United looked as though they had gone backwards, City, perhaps not unsurprisingly, flopped as they lack the experience and Arsenal flattered to decieve as always.

I don't think we should get more places btw, 4 is the max for any country and it should be. Personally I think it's very unfair on whatever team now needs to qualify at Chelsea's expense. Chelsea should definitely be allowed to defend their trophy, but should pay the price for a shit league campaign by going into the qualifiers.

Barca and Madrid are both far superior to anything in the Premier League.

Just look at how the league finished - United and City were miles ahead of everyone else, and both teams were shown up horrifically in Europe.

Chelsea winning it in the end was just a strange anomaly considering how poor they actually are. It's not a mark of how strong the Premier League is at all IMO. If you analyse the actual games against both Barca and Bayern anyone can see that they were comfortably outclassed by both teams. Barca hit the woodwork about five times over two legs and Bayern were just as dominant/wasteful. Still, nobody remembers that, and all that matters is the name on the trophy, and those shithouse classless cunts have somehow got their vile hands on that trophy. Utterly disgusting.

what a strange thing to say

they won the champions league, hence they deserved to win it...they beat napoli, barca and bayern (amongst others) doesn't really matter how they beat them does it?

let me guess - you're an arsenal fan?

Yeah, I agree with you.

I also reckon City and Chelsea will close the gap on Barca and Madrid next season. United will fall further away.
