I watched this at work and when the Bon Iver tune comes in about halfway through I started blubbering like a baby. had to excuse myself to the fire escape

FFS just watched this in my car and had tears rolling down my face. Discussion at home about when to put our dog down too. Far too real

'The Green Hills of Tyrol'

This tune always gives me uncontrollable feels. Played at my granddad's funeral and my dad'll often put it on when he's had a few over Christmas. It was only recently I clocked that it was also Rowdy Roddy Piper's entrance theme music. If I ever watch any old wrestling vids it might be hard to explain why I'm bawling my eyes out over Hot Rod.

That 'True Love Waits' tune off their new album as well. Especially when you think of it in the context of  wife dying as well... when he starts wailing "doooon't leave".

I'm sure it's probably obvious but what is the original? Sounds familiar like Stevie Knicks or something

[Edit] I assume from the comments it'll be Fleetwood Mac

Special mention to the piano riff in Adele's Hometown Glory - that often hits me in the feels.

'Someone like you', likewise, but that could just be because I subconsciously relate it to something bad in my life when it was released.

Does it remind you of the time you listened to Adele?

Certain tracks from the Traffic soundtrack by Cliff martinez have always got me, more due to the memories attached and the time passed since I first used to cane it on VHS way back when.

Quite Vangelisy in its atmospherics. Sampled both these for a dnb track a little while back, did well.

I need to get back into sampling movie themes.
