i start a station it would be the world biggest and most gheto 24/7 fux0r, doing what shoutcast and icecast are all used for, worldwide DJs in their flats n bedrooms connecting and doing theyre show using the DSP winamp plugin, to upload live stream from they desktop sound card, to the shoutcast server, all you connect to from the website .pls file and listen to
word, just install null nuke on a dedicated box, upload shoutcast 2 DNAS and transcoder tot he ./streams/ folder and setup your server and station, with winamp dsp plugin login linked to websites user accounts
full manager and auto generation of schedule is null nuke,easier if you box is running windows server, you can just click install as service in the menu to install shoutcast DNAS and transcoder,. linux needs some code and a symlink
you can put the servers in any folder for security, just set the folder path when setting up a server in shoutcast 2 administration module

if your just a bunch of nancies like pyro runnin a station for the masses and all other dnb and tekno stations, on demand, virtual DSP when no live show is on, is needed
the shoutcast 2 transcoder manages the shoutcast 2 DNAS stream which user listen too, the trascoder connects to the DNAS and maintains the schedule, and allows live source to connect via winamp DSP pluggin is time slot is on the transcoder schedule
you dont have to do anything its all automated, if a bedroom dj is too wrecked and dont connect to do there show, the transcoder will just carry on playing the playlist, just have to set the dj priority higher then the playlist, overlapping schedule slots wont show on null nukes generated public schedule
transcoder priority :
normal playlists of archived shows and mixed cds = 3 dj shows = 2 advert and jingle playlist = 1
