im trying to decide whether or not to get some wheels, should have done it years ago when i was 17. Insurance would be pennies by now. Some good info in here, good shout

happened to me when i was a nipper, got nicked before i ever legaly drive it. Didnt complete my test then, schoolboy error!!

What info? That some people spend a lot of money and a car and others don't? I imagine that will be very useful to you.

£3000 three years ago.
Now worth £1,000
Spend around £2,500 on it


My fault really as it was the exact spec I wanted. I should really have read the service history properly and taken into account the fact it had sat on a slant for 12 months.


Still love her though.

Insurance is the biggest rip off for cars now, have to budget that in. Get a nice motor and you could be looking at £1k a year extra

Miss having a motor. Im saying to myself that i'm gonna put my tax rebate towards a new motor but it seems i'm just pissing it up the wall. Few jobs ive applied for though come with a company car so fingers crossed!
