is kasra good at mixing? not that it really matters i guess, most of these fabric cds tend to be mixmeister (or equivalent) jobs don't they
He's really good
By the way, your wrong about Fabric mixes. A fair proportion (this included) are done live. I've just done an interview with Pinch - his was done in 1 take, with a number of mixes unplanned. Ditto Robert Hood and Martyn - for those you can hear a number of audibly wobbly mixes.
Tbh, I love the fact that more DJ's are putting an honest reflection of what they do out there. The overly slick, totally pre planned and rehearsed thing gets a bit much after a while.
I'm abetter DJ than this guy. I will post a mix on the morrow. He does have determination to push the music which makes him cool like. I'm still better in the mix though!

Ha, to be honest, its one of the best £6 i spend a month, the fabric mix's are really firing on all cylinders at the moment. Four Tet, Brodinski, Pinch, Dave Clark. This months is DJ Sneak (personal favourite) not Kasra, thats March just remembered.
Yes I went on Friday, got there quite late so didn't catch much of Kasra (or maybe I didn't realise he was playing ) . Really enjoyed Rockwell and Jubei, although was thoroughly underwhelmed by Phace and Misanthop / Perez and Sabre.
