Mouse, some of your twin stories are brilliant. You need a blog or some shit.

Mouse
It shouldn't be, but it probably is. Girls in my daughters class with their own iPhone at the age of 6.

In fact there are twins at the twin club my pair go to that are just 2 and have a tablet each "to stop them fighting".

Dangers of online gaming and social media may be a new problem but lazy / naive parenting is nothing new.

If you have no idea what your kid is doing for hours of a day then no surprise someone is trying to nonce them up.

Talk to your fucking kids, it's not hard.

After preaching like a bell end, my 5 year had my phone for ten mins the other day.... watching absolute shit on youtube as usual.

Find out a couple of days later I've been signed up to something called MobiPlanet and had about 4 lots of 4.99 billed to me.

My daughter arrived today! Birth went much easier than the first one except for right at the end which became a medical emergency. Alarm going off and 15 doctors swarming in the room. That was horrible but all is well now

Congratulations man

Those medical emergency situations are a big reason why I never want a third lol. Have never felt so afraid and useless in my life, twice.

All over now though eh, time for cuddles

Congrats Jammin.

As my missus will be 40 next week she'll be induced if it doesn't come by due date so none off this lateness for my boy...

anyone else's kid(s) coughing every second of every day and night?

Got a 2 year old and a 6 month old that both sound like they've smoked Superkings for 20 years, it's been going on for what feels like months.

Well, she's in charge of what she decides to do with her own body so in this instance, she is.
Not really sure what you're getting at there tbh.

Nothing sinister, just being light hearted... the fact that you let her decide her eating habits at her age is cool is all. Each successive generation increasingly wants to avoid meat which I am more than happy about.

Did you go veggie at 9 then? Otherwise comparing this to your past doesn't really work...

No but you are stating that he LET'S his daughter decide what to eat. I'm saying we all have chosen what to eat since birth.

He can't force her to eat something she doesn't want to which is what you're kind of implying

Does he stop her from going veggie? No, therefore he 'lets' her by definition - you're arguing semantics here, what are you trying to get at exactly?

I give up.

You are basically saying that other parents force their kids to eat meat when they don't and I bet the kids fucking love it too.

Soz guys. the eye roll was just a light hearted indication of the extra work she has created for me, her mother and the childminder. I am more than happy for her to make her own choices as long as she is aware of the responsibility that goes with them - not always choosing exactly what she wants if there are other things on offer which may give her a balanced meal etc etc.
