No iPhone/Blackberry shit, just something wasy to use with a good battery thats good for listening to music, taking photos, sending texts, and ofcourse the odd phonecall.  My current phone is a 4-5 year old Sony Erricsson CyberShot and quite frankly all this new technology is baffling to me in my old age so simple is best.

Thanksh guysh

Preferably keys cos my fingers are greasy and deformed but either will do.

I'm like you and despise iphones/blackberry and all that crap.

I have on of these (Ericsson Elm):

I can ring/text my friends and that.

This was my baby BITD.

Specialized1, I was looking at one of them today, looks perfect tbh but so slim it'd scare me, I'd worry about sitting down to fast and breaking it  is it sturdier than it looks?

sony erisson c902 available unlocked from ebay/amazon for about 75

was a new model about 3 years ago. decent camera, good for listening to music (although ff through long mixes can be a pain), can insert whatever card size you want.

Anyone know a good website where you can compare phones?

Off out to get one today, Elm is most promising at the moment but from reading reviews with all the "tips" from it about saving energy it seems a little homosexual

I had one of those when they first came out, sleek styling like that was revolutionary at the time & I was the talk of the town.

in all honesty the best phone I've ever owned is the iphone4. and I'm a technophobe. 1 year later and I wouldn't even dream of upgrading or changing the phone. This has never happened before.

Have to agree, I was 1 of these people that thought a phone was for ringing with etc but ive got a 2+ year old iphone 3gs and im lost without it. Id not dismiss picking up a used 1. At the end of the day, if all you do with it is ring then dont use the other features, when you want a new phone you'll still get good money back.
