Not particularly current but I am gonna go down the Tech House route, as I have only just discovered this guy's work post-Crackhaus and it's excellent.
I've been dabbling in a bit of House for quite a while, but feel I'm properly getting it to it now. There so much out there and so many styles, found it a bit hard to find the stuff I really like, bit I'm getting there now.
Not really current, but Stimming is my favourite House producer by far and 2 of my favs by him are After Eight and Song for Isabelle on his LP, Reflections, think it was 2009 (couldn't find YouTube Clips):
Not so good at naming individual tunes; better with mix CDs.
And on that basis i'm going to recommend Michael Mayer 'Immer 3' from last year. Classy stuff. Also James Zabiela's 'Life' mix for Renaissance was great - very varied in selection, from a range of styles (house obviously included)
Actually, i've just thought of a couple of tunes...
Wow. And to think heads tried to hound me off here for being into house 6-7 years ago
Maybe time to up a few of my old Prog/Tribal mixes. Stupaj I'm looking at you...
Might as well. Theres always been a good appetite on here for house mixes tbf, even though I hear you about the lack of love.
And I dont have any of your house mixes. Prog ones first please!
Haha don't you remember when once upon a time the only people who vocally expressed our love for House were myself and then Badrid, both of whom got a lot of abuse as a result
I'll up the Prog one when I get back from radio tonight, only did it a few years ago but it has a nice spectrum of tracks from the turn of the millennium onwards.
Stu, lol it could certainly be done! Would be SO much fun too
Lemme raid the archives and see what I have handy... Plenty of Skint and I think the Wiseguys could be useful for a track or two. Not forgetting the Chems of course...
