I suspect you might be right tbh.
They might've already given the order and asked him to see the season out and win the cup.
Say what you like about Dalglish, I know most of you can't stand him, but he will only try to do what's right by LFC and if he doesn't think he can take the club forward he would walk before pushed I think.
Would be good to see if he could instill a system like he did at Barca with their youth academy.
If only he would come to Villa and do it at ours instead.

I would be delighted if we really go all out for Martinez in the summer and sell off most of our squad, just keeping the few players that actually have some technical ability like Ireland, Clark, Agbonlahor & Weimann, he would need around 40 or 50 mil to make it work but i could accept another season in midtable if it meant he played some more attractive football

Hmmmmm.... I wouldn't be "delighted" with Martinez... I will never truly be satisfied with anyone though! But that would def be a step up from McFail.
That isn't saying much though... a chimps festering corpse in the dugout would be a step up from McFail.
Just watching a Wenger interview just now. For the first time ever I think he actually made me laugh when talking about how Sol Campbell is so rich he should give Arsenal his money to spend in the transfer market lol
He is a different person when Arsenal are doing well, he really cant handle the pressure anymore.
