I've never known anything like it. Seems to get mobbed by women at nearly every gig he plays. He's a good DJ, and reasonably handsome although his nose is a little big for my tastes.

Hospital have done very well.

Was dissapointed with him as a producer. Thought I was gonna love his output based on some tracks early 2010 but not really into anything he has released.

Would consider him for sexual relations though...

I think producing a bass-line by stretching your wang and playing it like a banjo has something to do with it.

Very "meh" producer though. Good but not great.

His early production was pretty good. Although since signing to hospital he has slowly become more and more formulaic, in turn this is making him more marketable to student nights. I think the women love his dancey vibe.

the Hospital hype machine is very good at convincing dweebs that they're listening to good music.

he's got the basics down quick, hope he moves past it quick as well.

although hospital have gone down the MoS d&b path for better or worse so I doubt they care about his development as an artist when it really comes down to it.

Don't get me wrong tho, I think it's brilliant having kids go mental for a dnb guy rather than some r&b dickhead or whatever, but the tunes are dry as fuck.

probably the most underwhelming producer about at the moment, considering the amount of bumming he seems to get.

soulless liquid, nothing special, i really don't get it.

I don't begrudge him his success but any tune of his I have heard has left me underwhelmed. Just not my thing I guess.

It will be interesting to see which way things go. Flash in the pan, or something with a bit of longevity.

I think Hospital have Shapeshifter lined up to be their next stars pretty soon so Netsky will probably take a back seat when that happens

Fucks sake - people are so quick to shoot 'popular' dnb artists down, even when they're making good dnb music.

I can understand the hate on pendulum/C&S as they churn out a load of tripe. This guy is making decent music, just enjoy it FFS

How many people do you think actually slag off something they think is good? This is such a stupid idea. Maybe it's just that a lot of people think something you like is shit.

First I heard of him was from a chick from school on Facebook hyping about his set at one Hospitality. As if I gave a shit, Marky and Rodigan were playing. Some people like to keep up with trends though.

I dont think anyone thinks Netsky is "shit", benjy. I just dont understand this forum's collective need to put a negative slant on something which can only be very good.

Plenty of people think his music is turd, and plenty of people think it is good, and since it's entirely a matter of opinion none of these people are wrong. The only people who are wrong are people who state their opinion on something as subjective as music as fact. Like you are doing in relation to Netsky.

If people say he's shit it's most likely because they think he's shit rather than because of some bizarre hatred for his personal success. As many people like Chase and Status and Pendulum as like Netsky, how come you're entitled to slag them off but Netsky is off limits?

Played all the right cards, risen fast, done very well for himself. Hard to fault that really, however not feeling his recent output at all. Still playing some of his older stuff. Needs a fucking haircut

It wasn't my intention to start a netsky hate thread. I'd be a disappoint if that's the way it goes.

I'm glad no one really agrees with the 'haters' theory.

Obviously that's a bit 2000s.

Thought Starlight was great, then heard the album round a friends house while we were playing pro evo so wasn't concentrating too much, but wasn't overly impressed with it.

Not really feeling his tunes but they're in no way offensively crap. I didn't realise there was so much hype surrounding the guy.

I don't think he's shit, I just haven't heard a tune of his yet which has excited me. Like I said, I don't begrudge him his success, he's done very well and that's fair enough.

His first releases in 2009(I refuse, King Of The Stars, Tommorow's Another Day, Starlight,Come Back Home, Lost In this World etc) I loved and thought he could be some kind of musical genius..but he got a bit shit after signing for Hospital..the album wasn't great and he's just getting worse imo. For an example check his remix of Bright Lights for some utter gashness...

Tbf though it's gonna be hard to top Starlight any time soon.

I've just found a picture of him on google and he's got a bit of a Beiber look about him. I take back my sexual relations comment... I now hate him in every way, shape and form.
