Amazingly Ian Brown has become sympathetic towards the Isle Of Man's music scene enough for him to come over this June 5th during TT!!!
I was first in line as soon as the tickets went on sale! Can't wait as I've also got a dj'in gig the same night so it'll be straight from an Ian Brown to pounding out drum and bass at my local rave scene.
Could you ask for a better night?

I was always under the impression they only ever made one good album... although admittidly it is an amazing album.
Ian Brown is a massive jebend though.
Completely disagree, The Second Coming was slated massively when it came out... I mean it's got nothing on the debut self-titled album, but i don't think there is is any album that does.. How can you write off the Second Coming as being a bad album? Look at the tracks... Breaking Into Heaven, Tightrope, Good Times, Ten Storey Love Song, Tears, How Do You Sleep... All amazing tracks, amazing band, unfortunate circumstances that led to their demise aswell, i recommend watching the documentary 'Stone Roses: Blood o the Turntables', I'm sure it's on youtube, it tells the story of the biggest dick'ed in the world becoming their manager and basically ruining them..
second coming would have been fine coming from a "lesser" band, but coming from one that made a debut album like that, it IS disappointing. i don't mind the album, but the whole thing was more or less john squire going off on a led zep ego trip with everyone else more or less coasting on through it
