It's the tons more action part that made it worse, the shooting parts aren't that fun so I got pretty fed up with it by the end, it was so obvious when coming into an area that I would have yet another tedious shoot out while just sitting behind cover, the game play feels a lot better in 4 and the story and writing is better too. Combine that with the huge improvement in graphics and it's no contest for me.

You just like the 4th one because it's in HDR.

Quite enjoying Fortnite so far. It's early access so still a bit rough around the edges, but a decent mix of Minecraft and something like Borderlands.

If you get grouped up with a decent team it's surprisingly good. Can see it taking off once they iron out the bugs.

Yeah played a few hours last night, I think it's pretty incredible tbh. It's slow paced but it has a proper eerie claustrophobic feeling and does the whole madness & hearing voices thing very well. I kept thinking my mind was playing tricks on me as I was playing certain levels. The combat is fairly straightforward but decent enough.

I want to enjoy it, but every game seems too haphazard. And it felt like building some elaborate fortress was a big waste of time, in the early games at least. None of the monsters got anywhere close to threatening it. And yeah it's pretty buggy.

This game man Moving around in zero G feels so good in VR and surpsingly not a hint of motion sickness. Also the first time i've been able to grope a bird in VR, although funny how she hits my arm away if i touch her face but not if i grab her arse the kinky slut.

I'll be very surprised if Hellblade isn't in my top 3 GOTY list this year. Anyone else playing it?

Also, does anyone give a shit about No Man's Sky? there's a massive update coming today that's making me want to jump back into it and start again.

First game i liked quite a lot but had quite a lot of flaws and few issues that irked. This sequel sounds lot better.

That looks pretty cool. Like what I expected of it at release. Might have to pick it up dirt cheap and give it a go.

I still have it somewhere. I very briefly checked it after the last updates earlier this year and it had changed a lot and added a lot even then. Stuff like vehicles , base building , different modes and planets did seem lot more varied , graphics seemed different - I still couldn't be arsed play much of it though. This update sounds lot bigger though.

I would check it out if my PS 4 was working.. Piece of junk.

Don't make the same mistake twice daz, it still looks boring as fuck. Pin all your hopes on Star Citizen, even if it doesn't achieve it's goal of basically taking gaming to the next level it will still be better than No Mans Sky. Beyond Good & Evil 2 could fill that huge open galaxy gap too.

Tbf I did watch half an hour of someone playing the update on twitch last night and it still looked pretty gash.

Picked up a used PSVR, interesting piece of kit.

Anyone recommend games / demos to download ? They should really release Rick and Morty for this thing

Nearly all the good VR games are on PC tbh. Rez and Thumper are both pretty good seated games on PSVR.

Anyone played through the Splatoon 2 single player? Is it worth getting for that?

Pretty excited for Sonic in 2 days, I think this will be a pretty big success especially on Switch.

Bit disappointing so much of Sonic Mania seems to be old levels. I thought the ratio of new levels would be higher but doesnt look it. Most confirmed levels seem to be from 1-3. Albeit remixed.

Remember the water blaster from Mario Sunshine ? If you liked doing that you might enjoy it.

I thought it was pretty tedious and it's my least favourite Mario game

I really like Mario Sunshine but mainly for nostalgia reasons. As Razor implies it is the worse 3D Mario game in many ways.
