Made some Jiaozi with a pork and vegetable filling, after boiling them, I put a bit of oil in the pan and fried them to give them a crispy coating, went down a treat, dipped in chilli oil and dark vinegar.

It's basically the same thing as Gyoza, but with a slight differences regarding filling etc, piece of piss to make and they taste beautiful.

It has its pros and cons. Excellent when using 'lesser' cuts.

I have used it for shin of beef, beef osso bucco and lamb neck fillets.

Where is it really comes in to its own is with beef short ribs. They are amazing.

I prefer carbonara sauce, should not just be reserved for chicken and bacon

What cons are we talking about here? Do you have to cook things for hours and hours?
