On the subject of fast small cars, that new Audi TT RS does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds or something ridiculous like that...

Wrong.. STANDARD car is about 4.5secs....

an R8 is 4.1!

Bending big pieces of metal in a folding machine (LAD) outside in the rain, but under a canvas and watching everyone on site running past getting soaked

I'm being pedantic here but

http://www.autoguide.com/manufacturer/audi/2012-audi-ttrs-review-video-1800.html

quote:

Audi claims an official 4.1 second 0-60 time, three tenths of a second faster than the Audi R8.

I built an Escort Cosworth years ago, 480 horsepower and 415 lbs. That thing was brutal on launch and timed 4 seconds 0-60 by Datron at bruntingthorpe

TTRS is 360/343 just cant see it doing a 3.5 as standard

I will STFU now Booooohhhh

Does everyone just use those stubble trimmers then? I tend to look best about a day after a clean shave. Tried using clippers to just have stubble, but it's not that good. Anyone recommend one?

There's a cordless Phillips clipper they sell in Argos that I have used since I was 17. It's 18 quid and they last for ages. Very low maintenance. Highly recommend these. I'm on my 3rd one after 10 years lol

Does it give a pretty close shave then?

Bought a new one to do my face but it doesn't get close enough and the one I used to use has now been discontinued

Ye they get it pretty close like, probably a 'naught' without the guard on. I also use them to get my hair short enough to bic with a poper razor, because if I let my hair grow I look like a fucking paedophile.
