The Phil Ball aka DJ Risk Memorial
a drum & bass rave for Phils Birthday
On Friday 31st July we will be celebrating the life of our fallen soldier, Phil Ball aka DJ Risk, Clwb Ifor Bach will be crammed full of his closest friends, DJing, MCing, Dancing & Raving to his favorite music. Aperture who Phil was an original member will host the event (He played the first night that Aperture was in Welsh Club) with Drum and Bass on the top floor and Dubstep/Bassline/Garage on the middle with Neuropol Soundsystem. All proceeds will be split 50/50, fifty percent going to Chloes (Phils daughter) trust fund and the other going to 'The Safe Foundation' - a local charity set-up to help children in third world countries achieve the basic needs of survival, so far taking them to India, Sierra Leone, Uganda and Ghana - So Phil can rest easy knowing he is helping kids in the Jungle.
Even if you didn't know Phil you are more than welcome to attend, this won't be a sad occasion, everyone who ever knew Phil or went out with him would know he would just want a fat rave in his name. For those who didn't know Phil can attend this Aperture night knowing there money is going towards a great cause.
