Really good, not quite as good as Thick Of It, but that wouldn't have translated to the big screen as it was.

pretty much the perfect example of how to adapt a TV show into a film, and one of the funniest things in recent memory

i must've seen it 10 times now and still piss myself every time. the 'you had sex to stop the war...' scene is brilliant

what they get so right about politics is the balance between dealing with a UN war commission one day in washington, and then having to go back to the english countryside to help someone with a collapsing wall the next

p.s. fans should check out Veep too. very strong.

Yeah the whole stuff with Coogan was gold.

"You're not fuckin 60!"
"If it's going in the papers, I'm 60"

Difficult difficult, lemon difficult.

Veep also really good but I find it a lot more cringe comedy. Nothing can beat the first few seasons of Thick Of It (basically before the last one where Iannucci stepped off)

Watched Train to Busan again last night. Was lucky enough to catch it in the cinema, but really enjoyed it at home too.

Without a doubt one of the best zombie films of the last decade.

More of that Genysis guff? Or a new premise?

Another franchise gone horribly wrong. Apart from 1 & 2 I think Salvation was the only decent one... 3 & Genysis are wretched beyond comprehension

James Cameron is involved for the first time since 2 so I have faith it will be good. Tbh I've enjoyed all of them.

1. Terminator
2. Terminator 2
3. The Sarah Connor Chronicles series
4. Salvation
5. Terminator 3
6. Genesys

Imo

I loved Salvation and watched it 3 times. It's very different to the first 3 but a good film in its own right imo. I didn't really understand the over the top criticism.

Being John Malkovic - 8.5/10

It had been sat on my DVD shelf for years but Razor sung its praises recently so finally watched it. It was recommended in reference to Lynch and although I can see why, this film has a quirky playfulness in its tone that separates it from Lynch's work.

Really enjoyed it.

John Malkovic stars.

Sausage Party - 4.5/10

Enjoyed this A LOT more than I thought I would. Not every joke is as dumb and puerile as you'd think.

Some Sausages star.

Man on Wire - 8.25/10

The story of Philippe Petit's death-defying feat of wire-walking between the World Trade Centre towers.

It really manages to convey the beauty and majesty of this event. I saw The Walk first and am shocked at how much little they dramatized the story.

Magnifique.

A mad French bloke stars.

The Terminator is leagues ahead of Terminator 2, which is fully sick!! Top 3 all time things.

And yeah Brad Fiedels soundtrack absolutely smashes it, listened to it so many times.

SIGS, EVERYTHING SIGS.

So last night my Missus kept banging on and saying I had to "tell her something romantic"

I was like "ok, but I need some music to set the tone" So I put on that tune ^^ looked into her eyes and said if she ever tried to leave me, I would hunt her down like the Terminator and "I won't be bargained with, won't be reasoned with and absolutely would.. NOT... STOP"

This scene though, where the club music fades into the score as everything slows down, fucking love it. Even the way Reese flies his coat back, sick everything sick, etc.

Takia Waititi might direct the new live-action Akira
http://www.darkhorizons.com/taika-waititi-in-talks-for-akira-remake/

and this new Tomb Raider trailer. now, i love alicia vikander, and obviously walt goggins too, but this just looks a bit generic to get me into the cinema. rate the plane stunt at the end though... feels like Uncharted

Watching it because Razor bigged it up though.

His commitment to begging it is quite something.
