Metal: A Headbanger's Journey

Metal is not a genre that I'm a particular fan of but this is a fascinating watch for anyone who is a fan of music in general. There's parallels with d&b with all the sub genres splitting off all over the shop. It's very well made and the main guy is really sound. I really wish someone would make something this good about d&b.

In The Shadow Of The Moon

The definitive story of going to the moon, told by those who went. Between 1969 and 1972 an elite group of men achieved an incredible dream. They were, and remain, the only human beings to set foot on a planet other than our own. These personal testimonies are interwoven with digitally remastered footage from Nasa film archives, much of it previously unseen and all of it hauntingly evocative of a bygone era. The result is an intimate and epic film which vividly communicates the daring and the danger, the pride and the passion, of this band of special young men.

"Home" (2009) - Full film in youtube with HD quality :

Good thread. I've watched this film^ a couple of times this week (can't post the link, but it's in the OP). Found it deeply thought provoking and often visual stunning, it's awesome that it's available on Youtube in HD too. Good comedown/afterglow watching material imo.

Docu/Drama = Jack The Ripper: 1987

People say the outcome isn't 'Sir William Gull' but, this is a great drama based on facts that weren't public at the time.

The man who eats badgers
Madness in the fastlane

Can't post links but should both come up if you google them.

Second one is unbelievable and like something out of the terminator.
