Last night I watched 'DIG!' about the Dandy Warhols and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, two best band buddies and their respective paths to 'fame' shot over a 5 year period.

Compelling watch, some brilliant footage of onstage tanties and backstage shenanigans. Very highly recommended.

Jesus camp (follow related links for the rest)

follows some kids who've been sent to an evangelist summer camp to be preached to/brainwashed. funny in some places, disturbing in others (telling kids harry potter needs to be killed, that they should die in the name of god, that their generation needs to overthrow the government, etc)

highly recommended

Anyone watch The Enemy Within last week on Channel 4.  Really well done.  It was a look at modern attitudes to Islam and Islamofascism combined with a look at the anarchist movement of the 19th century.  Remarkably similar.
