Carts of Darkness
Murray Siple's feature-length documentary follows a group of homeless men who have combined bottle picking with the extreme sport of racing shopping carts down the steep hills of North Vancouver

I watched missing 411 recently and although some of the cases used are a bit suspect imo a lot of the others are very strange to say the least. There's hours of audio on youtube of David Paulides talking about case study after case study of people that have gone missing over decades in similar areas and under similar circumstances.

New Louis Theroux on 4th Nov

Not really a doc but I ended up watching this yesterday when I was oozing slime and couldn't move.
It's a professional statement analyser analysing the McCann's statements on Madaleine. They are proper fucking darkos. The whole case is fucked

Also I learnt that if anyone talks too much about brushing their teeth it means they've been nonced up
He starts talking about the case at about 30 mins

While I have doubt the parents murdered the fuck out of her, that video seems to be bollocks. Most of what he says can be easily justified or explained. e.g.

- they are trying to defend themselves - yes, because this interview occurred at a time when there were all manner of accusations being thrown around (e.g. the falling suggestion that he said hadn't been brought up by the interviewer, but which was a popular theory at the time)
- "My God" - bringing in a divine witness - no, this just an expression, used by atheists and theists of all types. It needn't have

I'm not convinced statement analysis is a legitimate thing. There's always people who analyse media footage of people's body language after a conviction and pretend they were able to see the truth. This time it is not before a conviction but what he says is completely untestable. He's a charlatan imo. The fact he is being engaged by a man who thinks the moon landings were fake undermines him further.

Three Identical Strangers is a good watch. I thought the conclusion was a bit light, maybe even a cover-up.

Fight World, new series on Netflix. 5 episodes from 5 countries, covering various arts of fighting. Episode one is based in Mexico on boxing and was very good.

Staircase - Netflix documentary about a guy who was accused/convicted of murdering his wife. There was however a lot of doubt and dodgy shit a bit like Making of a Murderer. I enjoyed the series and whether he did or didn't do it he professed his innocence right to the very end. I actually liked the guy, however feel that he was guilty as fuck. Which is a shame and shows you can't trust anyone. 7.5/10
