culture shock isn't really jump up ....

how is it not jump up? can I see the definition please?

Vice chase not jumpup LMAO... http://www.chemical-records.co.uk/sc/servlet/sm?C=RAMM66Z&S=a

you could say they are jump up, but they are definitely nothing like your average jump up joe, i.e g dub taxman hazard

Precisely why I buy their records! But I don't really understand your point... Surely jump up is jump up it doesn't have to go womp womp womp wobble wobble does it? it just a different type of tune, but still undoubtedly the Jump up style of Drum and bass.

I think they're all very good at jump up, but for me Zen just gets it.  Not as prolific as some of the others but has been very good for a long time, a bit more aggressive and less gimmicky than some.  Monster Munch, Flip Mode, Kebab Knife, dub specialist are some old fav's and his new shit smashes it hard.  Heist & Hazard are also very very dangerous.

Dub Specialist NEVER fails. Classic choon

It's clear you don't understand my point, but it's quite obvious to distinguish regular jump up, from just clear sick dnb. which is what culture shock is.... compare 'the bypass' by CS to 'don't be silly' by original sin.... i think this might help you to understand that jump up really is just the  WOB WOB eRRRRR WA WA WAWOBBBB tunes.... tunes that are sick but don't fall under this genre, aren't shit just because they are all wobbly... infact probably better.... which is also the reason i buy their records..

Lol whatever... Thats a pretty narrow definition of jump up imo... The term has been around for a long time before wobble came along
