Cardiff Uni aint ivy league who ever said that you been smoking too much.

as for MC Danger D, the fact you type the way you do does nothing for the intelligent dope smoker.

"At one point, I went to interview the man who runs Amsterdam's hemp museum after smoking cannabis," says Nicky. "I wanted to appear professional - as any reporter from the BBC would. But this proved to be next to impossible. I was giggly and could hardly keep my mind on what he was saying.
"Embarrassingly, my attention suddenly wandered to a pile of guinea pig bedding which was sitting in the corner of his office, clearly intended for someone's pet.
"I rushed over to it and kept picking it up. I felt as if I'd just discovered the Holy Grail, but the poor man clearly thought I was incredibly odd. He was obviously uncomfortable in my presence, and I was clearly unable to be professional while on the drug."

Those are the good times

I swear whenever Ive been blazing on a daily basis I lose the ability to get into this sort of state, from skunk alone at least.

Fucking lightweight

HA HA - too right bro - i find downing pints b4 the blaze solves this problem

true say, similar situation, i blaze every day (evenings only during the week), yet have no motivational issues, am socially adept, hold down a good job, and hav never ever once got pranged or paranoid from smoking a zoot... its person specific

Just out of interest though how long have you been - dare i say it - a 'user'?
I smoked it for nearly 14 years, i think it does begin to take its toll physcologically [sp]
we used to cain an 8th a night for what seemed ages at one point.

well im 23, i have been blazing since i was 14/15 so say 8-9 years
ive always said the day i no longer take any enjoyment from it, i will stop it,
smoking regardless will take its toll after a number of years, cigs, green, or otherwise on certain things... but same way i feel its about mentality.. alot of my mates havent got the mentality to do say mdma for example and not loose the plot
if you have a strong state of mind i think you're ok, people that seem to have self esteem issues or are constantly bothered about how people perceive them seem to be the ones i notice that "freak out", wonder why people are looking at them, get prang, or sit around unmotivated

classic mail scare mongering...come talk to me, i smoked for 10years everyday, yet i now hold down a good job, have career prospects and i am able to function on a social level too!! Everyone is different and react differently to different things!! horses for courses...not everyone should smoke but not everyone is as effected by smoking.

This......I grow and smoke widdow and ak47, probably get through an ounce a month and I'm fine. I hold down a decent city job, am never late for work and have never prangd out due to puff..........
What the scientists and the Mail are mssing is that there is usually a hereditary genetic disposition to canabis. Some people go skitz, others just get lean. Just like some people can control drinking others are alcoholics.
The mail and the government should be more concerned with Crack and smack than puff.

i used to just get nicely stoned and enjoy it but these days after caining it from age 11-20 i go a bit skitz when i smoke it.

its not a case of either one or the other.

Despite this article and "experiment" picking up some interesting points, it is soo typical of the daily mail with its right wing scaremongering and attempted mind control of the masses to achieve conformity.........my dad is the model of this, lol
myself and 2 of my best mates have been smoking pretty much every day since the age of 12 and one is a chartered electrical engineer on 35k a year and starts at 6am each day, the other a land buyer for huge development company earns 30k and drives a new bmw and i'm on the last leg of a Computer Science degree at Cardiff, which to my knowledge is the UK equivellent of an ivy league school.
soooooooo, wheres our lack of motivation, creativity, acheivement, ability to focus, get up and socialise then?
we are all different. i think those that do suffer a lack of motivation feel this way as weed opens up a part of your mind that can admit that life and the establishment that seems to run it is essentially pointless/meaningless. those at the top cannot handle the questioning powers of weed and drugs in general, hence all the uproar with rock n roll in the 60-70's and people expressing this fact through thier music.
in short..... fuck the system dudes and rock on!

do I know you???? aren't you the one out to get me?? errrrr fuck it is you!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!

I dont get any paranoia at all!!

and 12 years old, really barlow??

My favourite bit is where it says that she had to give up jogging because she got so out of breath. Also, it says that weed these days is almost pure THC. No it aint. It still has cannaboids in it, and there were no ill effects in the 'schizoid test' they did when she had THC mixed with cannaboids.
I hear that the Dail Mail are planning a follow up article about how Muslims/immigrants are feeding white girls weed, and then forcing them into prostitution or something.

best quotes from the article are :

"But for this investigation she has spent the past month in Amsterdam, where she smoked around a joint of cannabis"
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

"A" joint of cannibis...was that per day????? lol

"The drug took me to some dark and frightening places, to which I hope I never return"

fuckinghell, its not crack or heroin.
pure scaremongering if you ask me.

everybody reacts differently to drugs.

Yeah true, who the fuck would inject pure THC, its like they had to do that as they knew a months standard blazing wouldnt have those effects. But the fact is i have had pretty much every problem mentioned and so have so many people i know who have gone a bit nuts from blazing.

Why would she choose to experiment with it if the only time she tried it before she schitzed out and hated it?

Any experienced smoker will tell you 99% of a whitey is headstate.

That said, i definitely don't function as effectively when i'm smokin, but i don't particularly want to, i'd rather be lean and happy.

If you do ANYTHING every day for a month it is going to fuck you up to some extent.

Same as that supersize me guy - a month on the Maccy Ds and he looked like he had leukemia or something.

Smoking high grade dam weed (as well as injecting it intravenously) non stop for 30 days would fuck up even the most hardened greenhead - not that the pathetic hacks at the Daily Mail would let that get in the way of a good story.

I've been smoking for 13 years now (skunk only, never cigarettes) and I've had my share of bad moments too, usually when I was overdoing it and getting through a half ounce a week. Nothing that couldn't be sorted by taking a break and cutting down a bit though. Everything in moderation is the name of the game.

i can safely say that weed turns me into a paranoid introverted fuckup if i try and smoke it these days

was good fun while it lasted though

each to their own, affects different people in different ways

+1

Good for you If it still does anything positive, but for me it just sends me into a paranoid slumber these days.

Used to really get to me how my mates could still get stoned into oblivion every night and be fine whilst it fucked me up, but now it's all good, much prefer having a beer or two whilst they chat complete bollocks/watch Father Ted etc for the billionth time.

I used to laugh off articles like that, it isn't until something bad happens to you that you actually sit up and take notice.

for fuck sake, that is just a fucking joke. i can imagine it happening to people who have already smoked for ages, but the suggestion that the same would happen to everyone who just started is wrong. imagine if the article said 'i smoked it everyday day, had a real good time, ate loads of food and watched some south park'
