Greek people in business - I swear they are slippiest bunch of fuckers out there, at least with Pakistani's and Indians you have rounds and rounds of 'give me your best price', the Greeks don't even bother, just offer something derisory then expect you to be grateful for their 'kind offer'

How strange was their son?
I love how over the top that show is, half of it is fake.
There are some certainties every episode (in order).
- Ramsey tries all their food, no matter what, it is always shit
- Owner / boss hates Ramsey
- Terrible evening service demonstrated
- Ramsey talks to everyone about their passion
- A family secret is unveiled.
- Restaurant is refurbed
- New menu = everyone cries
- First night in with new menu starts well, gets shaky but is ultimately a success
- Owner / boss loves Ramsey
- Ramsey talks to camera outside restaurant waving his arms around and walks off into the street in his chef gear alone
I watch this a lot, I do not understand why I enjoy it

I think that's got a lot to do with the americanization of the show. Strip it down to formula, making it much easier to edit but a lot duller. But on the flip side the americans do get worked up a whole lot more so it evens out.
